Another great vid🙏. The pro’s showing us how it’s done….can’t wait till your race season starts😀 Just found out that our state (WA) is holding the National Championships next year, so next season we’ll have to get stuck in🐶💪🏻🏃🏽♀️😊
Thanks 😊 that sounds like a great goal! Travelling to a national championship in AUS with dogs is a whole different level of dedication/crazy 😆 it must take people a week to travel there!
@@thatspottydogruns this year the nationals were over East and some people from here drove over to compete with their dogs….it took them 4-5 days 😬. That’s dedication! 😂 Even having it here next year, the country town they’re holding it at is about 3-4 hours away from us, so it’ll mean camping 😫
Dizzy is focused! Watching him on the wave and mass starts is impressive. Less than three weeks to my first race. A little intimidated, not knowing how my dog will react, but I am certainly looking forward to meeting fellow canicrossers.
Thanks! It took a few races to get him this focused at the start, but plenty of practice and he knows he’s there to do a job now (and eat snacks from the food stalls after 😂) Ah amazing! Best of luck in the race, I hope it goes really well. You’ll get a nice idea of some things to work on as a team whatever happens and meeting the local canicross community will be great too 😁 do let us know how you get on!!
First race under our belt. Raining, slick trail, wave/mass start with barking, snarling, snapping dogs...it was a blast! You were right in a previous reply to me in that my dog took to the competition and pulled strongly, at least for the first half of the race. She also was able to finish strongly. Very nice group of people. I'm signing up for another run in 3 weeks. Thanks for vids and the responses! @@thatspottydogruns
Bristol, WI. There are a couple of canicross friendly event organizations here in Wisconsin, so I will have many choices through spring. @@thatspottydogruns
