For those following along who want the Flight Simulator debug tools to last for multiple tiers; There is a keycard on the right side on the room (before going up the stairs) when you enter the room with the two simulators. The keycard unlocks the additional debug options, which include an extra ally ship, and persistent debug selections. This helps a lot with extreme difficulty.
Slack, I had the same issue. Wanted to bump my Piloting skill so went to take a "kill the bad guy on a ship" mission but there were none. Waiting did not help, so I also joined the UC and found out that the simulator on Extreme Difficulty is NO joke. Great video!
Hey Slack as another 1959 baby I have always used your ideas. Bessel 3b etc. In case you are not aware there is a skill point mod.. Read a skill book and gain 5 perk points. Drop the book and pick it up and gain 5 more. This does not add experience only skill points

Are the missions on the mission board in The Well different? Or what about if you installed a mission board in your ship?
