This is just the kind of thing I've been looking for. Years ago, I bought a small sauce pan from the Amway's Queen cookware. It still works beautifully. Its lid does have something close to the vapor lock because when you spin or turn it just a bit after water begins boiling, you'd better remember to remove it before the pan cools or it will get stuck just as you mention with this cookware. I have had other cookware but over the years it always breaks somehow. That little saucepan that I have was not cheap at the time; I purchased it as a demo for a slight break in the price. Thank you for such a detailed review.
I didn't even know this was an option. Honestly, never even thought about the coating in my slow cooker, but that makes so much sense. Thank you for sharing this!! Going to have to stock up on new kitchen finds now that we're going to have the space.
It has been a long time since I’ve ever used a normal crockpot, so I don’t have a recipe that I can compare times with a standard crockpot and this one. However, I am beyond happy with using their crockpot system. I’ve made several meals in the crockpot, and I’ve been very happy with how they have come out. In fact, I’m now using the crockpot more than ever because I’m so thrilled with it! I do love the fact that the pot can be used on the stove top and then transition to the crockpot. it really is a great option!
Another note: I have never had to turn it above the second setting out of all four settings. It does seem to run a little bit hot, but again I’m not used to using another type of crockpot to compare.
Do any of the “pans” (vs the pots) fit the electric base? Since all these pieces are induction I’m thinking they would be awesome paired with a Hestan induction base for very fine temp control and automated monitoring. That said, I’m glad to hear the simple, conventional base works so well!
I’m not sure what other pans may coordinate with the base. It’s probably best to look at the website for the most up-to-date details. However, I can tell you that I love using them with the pots! A perfect slow cooker for us!
Yes! I usually start on the stove top and then transfer the pot to the slow cooker base. I just started dinner for tonight in my slow cooker pot on the stove, top to brown the meat, and transferred it over to the base to cook for the rest of the day.
I’m torn between Heritage Steel and 360 Cookware. Would you be interested in doing a comparison review of these two American-made brands, or perhaps point out where each excels?
I would be happy to do a comparison between the two brands, however, I don’t own any Heritage Steel products. It would be hard for me to compare and review them without having tested them. Thanks for the idea!
What temperature coordinates with the number settings? How would someone know how long or high to cook meats in it??? I have the slow cooker and this is not mentioned anywhere. It’s very frustrating. I guess I’m left to trial and error and using a thermometer to figure out the temps. Very anoying they don’t tell to any tips on this
Any slow cooker you buy will only have low, medium and high settings. It is no different with 360 cookware. 1 is Low. 4 is High. In between those is medium. If you are looking at cooking meat at a certain temperature, an oven is the only way to do that.
There is no tutorial for how to use a slow cooker other than put food in and turn to low or high. Only so much I can say about turning a knob on a base. If you are looking for specific recipes, I suggest seeing some slow cooker recipe videos.
Just ordered over $1000 worth of pots. Glad I found your vid and 20% off
That’s fabulous!!! Enjoy your great deal! We love our pots and slow cooker! 🍳

Thanks for sharing! You're welcome!
what about making bone broth slow cooking?
This is great! You can do the same thing with an induction burner that has a digital timer and a pot 😀
Sounds great! I didn't know that! :)

Yes!!!! I'm so excited for you!!!
Can it replace a crockpot completely? I’m wondering if the temps and times for crockpot recipes (or the recipes in general) are good for the 360.

I'm interested in making bone broth in the 6qt pot. Do you think this is possible?
I don't see why not!
Can the pot be used on a stove (separate from the slow cooker base)?
Yes! I usually start on the stove top and then transfer the pot to the slow cooker base. I just started dinner for tonight in my slow cooker pot on the stove, top to brown the meat, and transferred it over to the base to cook for the rest of the day.

Can I buy this wonderful slow cooker in Sweden?
Thanks for asking! While there are some European countries where 360 Cookware will ship, Sweden is not one of them.
Nice, do you have any cooking videos?
I don’t, but I’ve made a variety of recipes and have been happy with the cooking.

How long can I cook my chicken bone broth on this pot?
Cant get these in the UK ,I don't think
Not made 100% in the USA.
A “review” and doesn’t show how to use it.
