Good evening Momostula, l like ur videos,it really a guide to me, l am actually coming to that same university Sheffield Hallam but I want to know when is the best time to apply for the school since I am looking forward for next year September.
Hi Momostula, thank you so much for your videos I've found your videos really helpful, and I'd like to ask you what type of Standard Chartered account you use, is it the regular savings, salary savings or current account?
I got my unconditional offer on 15 sep 2022 and it says to pay initial deposit within 15 days. And one main thing to ask i cannot access my application portal. A person told me after unconditional offer we cannot access application portal online on uni site? Whats actual thing i am afraid that i might get scammed
I've not heard of payment within 15days, be very careful. Go to Sheffield hallam website, get their official email address and send them an email for confirmation stating your concerns and also attach a screenshot or copy of the letter you received. Let them confirm if its a scam or not. But 15days payment deadline for admission deposit I honestly haven't heard of it.

Hi, thank you 😊. All the best on your application, the best time to apply would be from September this year to January or February. Schools get filled up fast because of the high rate of applications they receive, so the earlier you apply, the better. Corona has made a lot of things slow, it’s no longer business as usual.
Hi. Momos.. I'm actually at the form A stage right now and I got a confirmation mail that the process has been initiated almost immediately after submitting the form.. pls how long did it take after submitting getting the confirmation mail before u were debited.. 2ndly I didn't fill out any form physically in the bank as regards the process when I contacted my bank, they said everything is online
Hi, the time frame differs from bank to bank. In my case it took 3 weeks at the time, I know someone else that took 3months, 1 week for another friend and so one, it all depends on your bank and how long the queue is, you just have to wait. If they say it's okay then it's okay. In my bank i had to fill a form, yours might be different and that's okay.
Hi dear. I’ve been watching all your videos, lol. I have a question. I also want to study in the UK but I will be sponsored by a parent. Does the money need to be in my account as proof of funds or it can be in my parents account, also is it ok for the money to be deducted from my parents account since they will be the ones making the fees payment? Thank you so much
Hi thanks for watching. If your parents are your sponsors, they'll be the ones to provide your proof of funds. Fees too will ge paid by them as your sponsors, they can also send the money to your account for you to pay with yours. Proof of funds however has to come from them.

Hi Momos, thanks for your videos. I currently hold a conditional offer for the same university and same course fpr Jan 2023 intake. It was stated yhe pffer expires 30th aug. I want to ask pls. 1. Since the university did not ask for proof of English. Did you require this for visa application? 2. How much did you pay for your IHS. I read from UK.GOV thatbits 940pounds. 3. How much is the visa fee. I read its about 400pounds. 4. Whats the time line to pay deposit after meeting condition and accepting offer. Thanks yo revert.
You don't require English proficiency for visa application I did a video on the IHS and visa fee After your initial deposit of 1k before the CAS, you need to pay 50% of the total tuition before you start and the rest spread across 6moths of its September intake and 8months for January intake. Deadline for initial deposit is stated on your unconditional offer.
Hi ayo, please how long does it take to get an offer letter. I applied in august for January in take. Tgey contacted my referee to write about me, and after like a week I got an email that tgey have loads of enquiry to attend to and it might take a while to hear from them. I just want to know if there’s hope for me or not
Thank you. Also, you mentioned that you had applied for CAS before preparing your proof of funds. Does this mean you don't need POF for CAS? Always thought you did.
Proof of funds to get CAS doesn’t apply to all schools. Mine doesn’t do that, but recently I found out most schools request for proof of funds to get CAS so do your findings properly when you choose any school.
Weldone, I'm proud of you

Exactly, it used to be like a week or less till they had issues so I won't advice UBA too
Great👍🏽please how's accommodation in sheffield?
From research I made, it’s 400 pounds and above monthly. You can check out amber students for options and prices.
Many thanks
Good evening...pls how is their payment plan like
I don’t yet because it’s not been disclosed. It’s said on the offer letter that I’ll be told at the point of registration. But maybe 6months
Thank you for this information. Please do you need to submit proof of funds initially to the University before CAS can be issued ?
Sheffield doesn't ask for proof of funds before CAS
how long does it take for them to issue CAS after your initial payment to the school

Hi, Thank you for the video, and helpful tips.
At what exchange rate were you charged at your bank for the paid fees?
I was charged about 520 to a pound. Between 520-530
I’m not very sure about the figure anymore
