Waxing isn’t too bad actually (for me) it just feels like hot for a second…if that makes ANY sense.. it’s sorta like a carpet burn but just for a split second so I recommend ☺️

Waxing doesn’t really hurt once you get used to it! Indeed blood comes out sometimes but that’s just if your skin is sensitive! And the girl was probably in pain in the first one cause she wasn’t fully relaxed, which explains why the lady couldn’t take out the wax quickly cause the girl wasn’t relaxed! And waxing lasts longer like it’s so cool!

Shaving all my life gave me thick stubbly hair, ingrown hair and 3-4 hairs started growing out of one follicle. I started waxing in October 2008 and I’m never going back. It’s been amazing. My underarm hair is thin and soft and the quantity of it has gotten less too. I just use regular wax, nothing fancy!
Hi there! Cosmetologist here...shaving doesnt make your hair grow out thicker. When you shave, you actually just cut the pointed tip of the hair which creates a blunt cut, kind of like cutting grass. That is why when your hair starts growing back, it seems more course and thick. In reality, its not. Eventually, it goes back pointed. But it is true about the annoying ingrown hairs! The more you wax, the more damage to the follicle and papilla, which will eventually cause your hair to grow at a much slower pace, or even quit growing completely! Im glad waxing works for you! Its a great alternative to shaving!!!

It’s bleeding because the hair is being completely removed from the follicle which results in the hairs coming back weeks later & much thinner which is a good thing, not a bad thing!

For those who have been thinking about waxing after years or a while of shaving I suggest not to by my experience I started shaving bc waxing made me bleed sometimes but then after I started shaving my hair started becoming rlly thick than I decided to wax again after just shaving like 3-4 times and my whole underarm was bleeding and it hurted rlly bad for few days (this is just my suggestion by what I went thru)

I have LOTS and LOTS of insecurities in my body, but this video made me feel thankful that my armpit hair doesn't grow thick like that. They're just wispy baby hairs, very thin strands almost transparent, even if I don't shave they aren't very visible unless you take a very close look.. same for every female in the family. that's why I was weirded out when I first saw a girl's unshaved armpit with small growth of thick black hair, I legit thought only grown male can grow thick underarm hair.
Shaving isn't nice. You could have razor burns and it'll damage your underarm. Not mentioning you shave every day. Waxing is more ideal as removes the hair from the roots, preventing it to grow back as fast as shaving does.

I have urticaria and my skin is really sensitive so when I used to shave it turned out very red and itchy at the point that I had scratches and wounds all over my body. So the dermatologist recommended me waxing and since I've been using it and it's so much better and durable (about a month). Yes, it is painful at first but then you get used to it.

Guys waxing barely hurts once you get used to it, you develop a tolerance quickly and your hair starts to grow back thinner and more sparsely so it hurts less and less. So much better than shaving constantly.
The problem with waxing is not the pain for me but the fact that you had to wait for it to grow a bit for it to be able to get waxed. I can't wait that long.
I'm dying to know if you have any clients with Hidradenitis Supperativa. I haven't had cysts under my armpits for a while now, but the ones I had before left scars that make it really difficult to shave. If I make it thru without cutting my self it's rare. Waxing hurts but not that bad, you can minimize the pain by stretching out your arms, legs in right way or holding/pulling skin right way, it also hurts if you're new to it but after 2-3 waxing sessions you get used to it and doesn't hurt like it did the first time, I definitely recommend waxing as it pulls out hair from roots and doesn't give bumpy texture to skin and always apply some soothing cream after waxing, also hair doesn't grow back faster. It's worth it.😃

The pain actually depends on your hair thickness, the thicker it is, the more painful it is. I have long but thin underarm hair and I've been waxing since I can remember and my first wasn't even that painful, trust me plucking was much painful than waxing.
