I want to be a neurosurgeon as well…. Almost done high school but I’m also concerned about having kids and not belong able to be there all the time for my kids but this is what I want to do so I’ll make it work
@@lindagusch2671 I actually think that I'm going into the right field, I've lost two relatives in the past year to Neuro related issues and I want to make the world a better place, by hopefully finding a cure for brain tumors. I know that sounds cheesy and corny, but its true, at least for me.

Make sure your main motivation is there and keep it with you. Consistency is key from the beginning to the end, there will be high points and low points but always remember your key motivation to do Medicine. There’s also no one way to study, do the techniques that work for you. Don’t feel like you have to do it the way everyone else does it, as long as it works study/work however works for you.
Outwork others until you are miserable and then realize that you love that misery and misery is the feeling that only few dare to achieve and experience. You can do it !
