Great question! We at Pure Hockey do not carry the Ignite pro or Ignite pro + skates as those are a SMU(special make up) for other retailers. The Supreme 3S Pro Skates are part of Bauer's regular retail lineup and are designed to give skaters the most performance at this price point. The 2018 Ignite Pro+ was close to a Supreme 2S, so you could consider that as Bob walks you through the upgrades from the 2S to the new 3S Pro such as the LS Pulse Runners, Performance Fit System & more!
A special sharpening is not needed to maintain a radius. However, depending on how often you sharpen your skates and the consistency of the sharpening, it may be a good idea to re-profile. Not something that needs to be done all the time, but always good for maintenance. Thanks!
Definitely looks like an error. We cannot speak for another retailer, but a EEE skate is not something Bauer offers. The widest fit from Bauer is the Fit 3 in the new 3 fit system. Thanks!
Hey Deven! The LS5 Carbon is going to have a little better edge retention due to the carbon coating and the LS Pulse is a harder steel grade. Both are great options and would be a matter of preference. The new LS Pulse TI is the best of both worlds providing that harder steel grade and better edge retention. Thanks!
You will definitely fit these skates. Bauer have a new system, they only have Vapour and Supreme and they got rid of the nexus. For both the Vapour and Supreme there are 3 different fits. Fit 1 is skinny and has a shallow heel, fit 3 is wide and has a deep heel, fit 2 is in the middle. If you were a Supreme EE, you are most likely going to fit a fit 3. I have a wide foot and I picked up a pair of the ultrasonic’s yesterday in a fit 3. Hope this helped.
As Braden mentioned. If you're in a Supreme EE right now then you're more than likely going to fit best in the new Fit 3 skates. Sincerely, a former 8.0 EE, now Fit 3 Skater.
Hi Sean, Yes! The 3S Pro is a great option, just one model down from the Ultrasonic featuring many high end options just not all the performance benefits of the top end model. You made a great decision on the 3S Pro!
I bought around the same time and can confirm, great durability too and I like that Bauer at least sub laminated the instep badging in the second tier skate. You can see that they tried to squeeze out a quality boot in the price point with good R & D.
Hi! Bauer has reworked their sizing a bit and the Senior division is now Size 7-12, the new Intermediate division is Size 4-6.5, and the Junior division is now Size 1-3.5. @@purehockey I can tell My size 7 Pro S3’s are a size too big, maybe more, than my long time size US 8.5 s170s I emailed Bauer asking why the size discrepancy. I’m sure I’m a 6e or fit 3. Doubt 5.5e. I got on the ice & got off with 10 minutes of skating.
We are so sorry to hear you’re having sizing issues with your skates. It may be best to visit one of our retail stores where a Skate Specialist can review your current skates and foot scan to give you the best possible fit for skates and get back on the ice ASAP. @@purehockey Two stores had me at size 8 Fit 2. Bauer scanner The store won’t accept me return, neither will Bauer. Makes better sense to fly to either Minnesota or Mass to one of the Bauer stores and get a demo vs just trying a pair on. Waste or 650$ I’ll get 150$ tops for them at a used sporting goods store.

Are these like the 2020 Ignite Pro Plus? Also have the ignite pro + released yet and at what price?

Do the 4 zone blades need special sharpening to maintain 4 zones?

Sportcheck has a 3s pro 10.5 listed with available width of fit 1 fit2 and EEE. is that an error ?
Definitely looks like an error. We cannot speak for another retailer, but a EEE skate is not something Bauer offers. The widest fit from Bauer is the Fit 3 in the new 3 fit system. Thanks!
What's better, the ls5 carbon, or the non coated Ls pulse

I just order these 3s Pro Model. Is it a good skate hahaha

Are the 3s skates a one piece boot
Hello - the 3s and 3s Pro skates are not a true one-piece boot. The 3S Pro does have a carbon outsole which helps maximize energy transfer and feel.
Only available down to sz 7
