You are the man! I am enjoying all of your videos and learning every time something new. I have started learning 3D designing a few months ago. Just another hobby for me. There are hundreds helpful videos by others and a lot of them are great but yours are the best for me. The speed how you are explaining exactly matches my ability to understand and memorize it. Just wanted to say ,,, THANK YOU!
Thank again for these tutorial, one question is there a chance that the dimension lines are to be coloured something other then black ?? Orange would be nice Kind regards Hans
Brad you're the best teacher. In every live i knowledge something new. I have a question!! How can i model something when i have only 2 or 3 low resolution picture without mesurements?? I need to model an assembly composed of a knuckle joint combined with a pipe clamp.
Hi there. Would you mind offering some insight into how you are able to have component names in lowercase while the parts list table automatically changes all text to uppercase?
What is the best method for moving a folder of custom models from one project to another? F360 will not allow models from one project to be inserted into another project. Downloading and uploading to another project is too slow!
QUESTION: I like the new Export Mesh (for 3d Printing). I am using 3MF. But now every time I import into Cura, the part is off the build plate? In the old version, it always came in center of plate? Any settings to fix this? Just more work getting it into a printable place. Thanks.
Is there a way to save a custom table template? Also, is there a way to keep the unit of measurement in the design workspace as inches and have the properties display the weight in pounds?
Is it possible that there is an opttion some where for if your assembly view has a component, say at an angle, to orientate it perpendicular for the drawing? Ie maybe oriented from a plane?
As a hobbiest I don't have the quick add option to add a page. I have to go back to the design and recreate a drawing. Is that my only option? If not, how do I add a new sheet?
*** Hi Brad, I designed a RC boat that I want to build but after I finished the top shell on Faces mode I am not able to convert it into a solid with the Thickness function... tried everything I remembered and after a couple of weeks I had no luck. Would you mind to receive my file and check it out for me please? Kind regards
I appreciate the instruction here, however I will say that I never needed any instruction to make complex drawings in Solidworks. There is so much about drawings in Fusion that fails to be intuitive, therefore requiring long videos of 'tips and tricks'.
The fusion 360 drawing environment is crap, the dimensions often lose references, so the sketch is useless for practically anything, other than that it's too slow

thanks Brad very interesting I know more about this .
Very Helpful.
Thanks Brad!
Learned so much. Excellent live stream.
I was looking to decide for several 3D systems but I think you just sold me on Fusion
Is it possible to have dimension shown in centimeters or meters (needed for internal design drawings)?
Sure, why not
@@SergioOlivieri89 Yes, this was added in the September release of Fusion 360 ua-cam.com/video/BmiIT171k9A/v-deo.html
The sheet metal drawing trick is really useful to know - Have learnt loads of useful stuff on this tutorial that is really helpful .
Thank you Great video.
I love your tutorials, fusion continues to blow me away! I can’t wait to include this in my teaching at PrintCity. Thanks to you and the team 🙏

Great lesson, very usefull, thanks
Very nice tutorial, good tips! Thanks
Very informative and enjoyable tutorial. Question: In the table why is the description of a part shown as a part number?

This is excellent - very useful
Keep up the great tutorials Brad!

Thanks for a great overview. Is it possible in fusion to create a section of a base view and then put it on a different sheet?

Nice👍
It would be great if we could download your design so we could follow along with drawing it.
At 10:15, I have a Bodies folder with eyeballs, but no checkboxes. Somehow my drawing is working differently from yours.
Damn, I miss Brad & Angelo!

This video is a lesson in "Hero syndrome".
How did he get the image into Fusion? Was that initially a sketch or did he import it?
@Viseral- Not sure what you are asking. What "image" are you referring to?
The model is one he built in a previous series.
@@markwilson4696 Thanks Mark!
@@adskFusion No worries. It was answered in a another comment. Thanks for the reply.
