You could just remove the clutch bell and directly weld an adapter to the splined shaft

If you flip the gear box and drive it from the bottom would that give you more speed?
It would for sure. I’m not sure what the reduction in speed is but it would increase it that many times. You could decrease the drill speed and come up with an ideal speed that way.
