Thx for the video. We are here in torrance ca, and our friends are moving there and we might follow. My biggest concern ia the weather. I drive for fedex and have never driven in the snow. Thx for ur help
Hey! You know, someone asked my why people move here. 4 seasons is one of them. I just got back from beautiful Orlando FL. I love that weather, but I also love the change.Driving in the snow is as easy as breaking before you turn, driving straight, and not accelerating fast. I have never been stuck, but my first time driving in the snow was a struggle until the guy in the passenger seat explained a couple rules to me :)
Which charter school, looking for a good elementary school for my daughter? How hard is it to win lottery for attendance? Do you have to do it every year or once you're in you can stay till graduation?

Moving from central valley CA to Meridian. Nervous and looking forward to it! Not a political person so don't care much about that stuff. Lived in CA my whole life and just don't go there. We visited it and really liked it. My husband has family there! Any advice or tips in living there in general we have small children

i am not sure the exact stats on diversity, but i would say it depends on where you are coming from. some would say this shows my white privilege but here's my take, i don't see race being a factor for safety here. stats might prove me wrong, but not that i know of.
You used South Central L.A. as a reference? LOL!! That's one of the worst places in the entire US!! Look, Meridian is a nice little town, was there a few weeks ago, have friends that have moved there 4 years ago and love it, however you need to stress the poor salaries more, venturing anywhere 20 minutes in any direction is your typical, run down ID. There is no diversity, none... the weather can suck, hot at times in the summer, really cold and crazy thunderstorms. Yes, they do not like CA people, but that just shows the ignorance of people... plus it's a red state, and anyone who supports Trump is just plain ignorant.

Is Meridian Idaho very diverse? I am Hispanic and that’s the only that scares me….. my wife is white so I’m somewhat safe? Lol
