Regarding ADHD, I see a lot of comments saying “no nothing is wrong.” I think that’s a bit negative because there’s nothing “wrong” with being neurodivergent if Jesse is. At the very least he can get evaluated if he feels the need to. And if he were to be diagnosed with ADHD or any other neurodivergent thing, it’s perfectly fine. Please do not diminish people who are neurodivergent! Someone’s mind working differently than what’s considered “typical” is not a negative thing. Their mind just works differently. Please be more open minded!
What a great comment, neuro diversity is not a ‘problem’ it is just a unique individual way of thought process that neuro typical do not understand - I teach many children and adults that are neurodiverse - dyslexia, dyspraxia, autism - these individuals are unique and certainly not at a disadvantage when it comes to training and riding horses 🐴🌅
Nice to see you guys back in the stables again! Jesse, if I didn't already respect and admire you (which I do), your comments about cats would have earned my respect and admiration! You've made me so proud to be a member of your followers! "Why have a cat (if it doesn't do anything)?" "To give it a better life." Perfect answer! Matt - I've used honey and honey-based ointments/salves/creams before. It's not pus - it's the body reacting (healing) to the medication. A good idea, if you haven't already, would be to have your doctor take a look at it, just to make sure the wound is healing properly. (An aside: after seeing how much your horses shed, you're complaining about *cat* hair?!!? Seriously???) I'm jealous of your Paris trip! Enjoy!
Fair point on the horse hair. He forgets dogs shed too. There Are various ways to gather the shedding. (Besides vacuuming. Get a Roomba type to keep on top of the shedding time.)
You guys really dont have to change anything... You both lighten my evening, I swear Jesse just loves winding you up Matt, and the way you respond back is hilarious and sweet, Keep it simple, real, and exactly how it is...❤

"The drawer opens and the cookies come out!" As a fellow after-dinner grazer, I've never laughed so hard at something I felt so personally attacked by...
I wasn’t a cat person, for the same reasons as Matt, until we rescued a cat. We had a 6 yr old rescued dog at that time and they figured out how to get along. Our life was enriched because of her so keep an open mind. If you have pus coming from your open sore, I suggest you see a doctor for antibiotics because it sounds like your cut is infected.
Not unless it's getting worse. The body knows how to heal. The reason we have so many antibiotic resistant bacteria and diseases is precisely because doctors gave antibiotics for things like that.
@cattymajiv if there's pus coming from an open wound you should definitely see a doctor. They can decide whether you can have local antiseptic treatment or if you need antibiotics. Yes, it's true we need to limit antibiotic use where possible, but if you have a nasty infection you will need them - sepsis kills.
Matt!!!! You treat a cat like a dog and reap the rewards of a loving, loyal animal as a result. I love cats. Mine come when called and are just as loving as a dog would be. As for the hair - make your cat a barn cat - and they will kill the mice for you. Also cats are generally very good with horses and horses like their quiet ways.
I feel like a desert, and it is raining. Just absorbing all of what you have to share. Both of you make me smile and focus. Thank you for sharing your lives.

@matt_harnacke questions for the next one: *How are Jesse's grandparents doing? Weren't they sick recently? *Who is most likely to snore: Jesse, Matt, Penny, or Maisy? *The Land Rover is Matt's dream car. Does Jesse have a dream car? *Matt, you clearly love the English stately home/country house style. Which one is your favorite and have you been able to visit it? *Pretend Steve or one of Jesse's siblings has a kid. Who's going to be the favorite uncle? Uncle Matt or uncle Jesse? *What shows are in your Netflix queue? What shows are you not allowed to watch unless you're together? *What are some ways to be involved in the horse world if you don't/can't have a horse at the moment? *Do either of you have any tattoos other than the sun and moon? Do you want more? What would you get? *Have you considered merch that isn't just for horses for those of us who love your channels and want to support you both, but don't have horses? Stuff like mugs, water bottles, shirts, calendars, etc etc?

I am so happy to hear you may resume show training with Emporio. You both did so well in Oct-2022. I think Emporio is really going to enjoy the show circuit where he can strut his stuff and have you focused on him. But I know you have many, many other interests. I love you and Jesse and the way you interact with each other and with your animals.
Jesse, i love how you share your journey with ADHD so openly! It definitely is nothing to be afraid of. I have been diagnosed with ADHD 5 years ago. For me, the ADHD diagnosis has never been a label, but the key to understanding, accepting and loving myself and my diversity, to efficiently work on my weaknesses and even turn some of them into strengths. And to shape my world to fit me instead of the other way around. Never ending process of course 😉 l wish you all the best on your journey!
Matte. Get a pen and look carefully around the wound for redness. Draw a line along the edge of the red. Next morning, check to see if the redness has gone past the line. If it has it means infection is building! Please seek medical help.
You just haven't seen the right cat we have had her since birth 15 years she gets bathed and nails trimmed doesn't jump on you or counter she is amazing
Matt and Jesse: Thank you. I love your artwork. I’ve had horses in my life as long as I can remember. There is so much feeling in working with horses that is tactile so exemplified by what Jesse does and subtile and controlled with what Matt does. There’s a passion in your art and uniqueness you manifest and control so artistically that it becomes beautiful.
I agree! Jesse may be a bit ADHD but he is lovely and endearing just the way he is. If he feels he struggles in his day-to-day life, then by all means looks for aids that can help but as far as being a people person, Jesse is perfect. I wouldn't change a thing; it is sweet when Jesse gets distracted by beautiful flowers or animals in the field and loses his train of thought or interrupts Matt. It always makes their videos more entertaining, it's an unexpected bonus rather than a negative so I wouldn't want that to change.
You two are so perfect as a team, each with qualities that the other can appreciate. Certainly had me laughing while just being yourselves. I was thinking maybe if you had pictures of all the beautiful horse facilities and the individual rooms as in tac rooms, et cetera It would help create a really nice visual for both you and us who aren't able to see in our heads, (just a thought). But surprises are nice too. I believe you two would have been friends at school, but the best is that you are friends and partners now, and that's what counts. Always good to see you, wishing you a Happy Easter, and good times ahead.❤️👍
Matt, as someone who has boarded horses for many years, you hit the nail on the head when you said that if there is something that you want done with your horses and the owner won’t do it, you leave. You are so fortunate that you will have your horses at home!
I love this podcast so much. Your energy is amazing, I love the banter, but also the genuine connection you guys have. I love the mix between personal behind the scenes stories and horse life. The setup is cool, it's honest and just focused on your life. These videos absolutely make my day, thank you for that :)
Questions for next episode: Would you ever get another tattoo? Favorite vacation ever? Do you Matt, ever introduce yourself with Mattia? Any special plans for the summer? What are your top priorities when it comes to horse welfare and training, and how do you integrate these priorities into your daily routines?
Do you both realize how entertaining you are? Both of you have a good relationship and can easily laugh at yourselves in the process. It is good to have your own space to unwind but I think you can do that with your horses. Congratulate yourselves on living in a contained space and still getting along. There are some couples that can't even do that so Kudos to both of you for still getting along. Hope you find a place that you can call your own in the very near future.

I'd like to contribute an idea for your PODCAST: Many of us 498K are outsiders to the Horsing community. We don't even have the basic knowledge and vocabulary around horses. Maybe you can have a PODCAST episode(s) "Horses 101: stables and terminology" where you take us through completely foreign concepts like 'dressage' or 'turn-out', and many other terms and concepts that we hear you say every week, but have no idea what they actually mean. Like what are all the different areas of a stable and outdoor/indoor property called? What are the time tables, are horses moved in and out every day? Do they ever move about on their own? Etc. etc. etc. Literally starting at almost square one for many of us!

I can relate to Jesse a lot more in how he describes approaching things. His stable description is about function than about style. Airiness & ability for horses to move in / out & space / fields. It's about functionality. Matt is wanting to discuss "architecture & interior design". -- Good idea to hire someone to do things you don't enjoy in your business.
You 2 are a riot! I enjoyed this "unstable" immensely! More, please. I'm an old lady, nearly 75, but I live vicariously through you. Love you! ❤
YES...KEEP IT SIMPLE! It is most charming in this format. Great job, boys. Love from Aunt Cynthia.
The best-friends-giving-old-married-couple energy reminds me so much of me and my bestie, and I'm living for it
You guys really dont have to change anything... You both lighten my evening,
I swear Jesse just loves winding you up Matt, and the way you respond back is hilarious and sweet,
Keep it simple, real, and exactly how it is...❤
I wanted to say that I love these one on one videos. Your chemistry is so delightful. It's good to have fun things to share together, but also feel free to do your own thing apart. That makes for a true relationship. Wishing you all the best on this Easter Day from the US.
Everyone's minds process thoughs differently. Just because your mind jumps around doesn't mean there is anything wrong. You learn how to control your gifted imagination to solve problems in your way which is the correct way for you.
It is always hard to be in front of a camera....don't sweat the small stuff...just be yourself...Jesse....don't change....Love your videos..Happy Easter
"The drawer opens and the cookies come out!" As a fellow after-dinner grazer, I've never laughed so hard at something I felt so personally attacked by...
MATT!! 🤣🤣🤣 your facial expression are so dang FUNNY 🤣🤣🤣🤣 when asking Jesse what his ideal stable would look like 🤣🤣🤣
I wasn’t a cat person, for the same reasons as Matt, until we rescued a cat.
My cats have my dog completely under control
Jesse gives me so much life, love this guy 🫶🏾
I love him,also!!!
smiled through the whole video :) happy easter
I feel like a desert, and it is raining. Just absorbing all of what you have to share. Both of you make me smile and focus. Thank you for sharing your lives.
Love that ecxample👏😂 thank you!!
You two are wonderful together! ❤
Couples sharing a sense of humor is inspirational. And being truly authentic with each other while still being caring for each other is indeed a beautiful thing to see.
You guys are just the best!❤ Everybody is always loving Jesse (they are totally right!) But can we talk a Minute how caring and protective Matt is? ❤❤
The BEST home remedy for wounds comes from NZ - Manuka Honey - also for horses.
@matt_harnacke questions for the next one:
*How are Jesse's grandparents doing?
I would love to get a mug!
Oh wow these questions are great. Love how you know and remember little details wohoo
Merch is a great idea!! Xx
On one of Jesse's tours he Does have some types of merchandise. A book, some t-shirts, hoodies and his horse merchandise. All on his web site.
@Joyfullscroll Nalanta is his web site. I would like to buy a mug with a picture of his horses on it so I can drink ginger tea with them during the "Unstable" podcast.
You guys balance each other so well. Jesse, you are super creative and have such gifts...please don't change 💙🙏🥰🕊
I would like to see Jesse blindfolded and trying to guess the horses. I think it would be a lot of fun, since Matt already did it. 😁
You two are hilarious… your final minutes of this video were hysterical. Thanks so much❤
That was a great update. You guys were just so natural and love watching you.
You two are the sweetest people. I adore you both and love that you have each other.
Jesse you are amazing just how you are. And you deserve a nice holiday of your own choosing. 😉
Matte. Get a pen and look carefully around the wound for redness. Draw a line along the edge of the red.
Next morning, check to see if the redness has gone past the line.
If it has it means infection is building!
Please seek medical help.
... and make sure your anti-tetanus vaccination is up-to-date (especially around horses)!!
He just did an update on insta today and it looks a lot better so it's not a worry
Thanks ... good to know... pretty nasty-looking after nearly two weeks.@@choco3424
@@choco3424thank you for the update.
Love having the horses stick their heads out to say hi. For instance, Chase was welcoming us today. 🤗♥️🇨🇦🤓
It's great that you invite us more into your life and relationship! Happy Easter! 🐇🥚🧡
You two are hilarious. Enjoy the simple format and the balance you provide to each other. So funny.
I think you guys are so good for each other. Your always there for each other in good and bad time.
You Both are so sweeeet together ❣️ nice to See, that you found each other ✨
You just haven't seen the right cat we have had her since birth 15 years she gets bathed and nails trimmed doesn't jump on you or counter she is amazing
this is literally my favourite ep yet!!
Jesse, embrace who you are, You are truly humble and endearing, never change for anyone!
Agree..if you and Matt were closer to same type of personality, sense of humor, neat freaks your relationship might be a train wreck 😅😊!
❤😅❤
@@chasingfences1302 I totally agree! I love that about him.
You are so nice. I laughing the whole time. Happy Eastern to you and all the people arround you
Questions for next episode:
Would you ever get another tattoo?
Favorite vacation ever?
Do you Matt, ever introduce yourself with Mattia?
Any special plans for the summer?
What are your top priorities when it comes to horse welfare and training, and how do you integrate these priorities into your daily routines?
OMG 😂😂😂. We are already 3 mins and no questions answered and its off the rails……I love it 🤣
I love these Q&A episodes and your interaction. You both make me smile 😊❤❤
I really love this more and more personal vibe with you. Thanks for sharing all this with us 💕
Jesse, we love you just the way you are❤
This was so good, and light, and enjoyable!!! Love all the sass Jesse was giving Matt!!
Oh, Matt, the cat will rule the dog!! They will be friends in the end 😊😊 Most barns have both and they are just fine...you crack me up🤣
Super lief samen
Etc. etc. etc. Literally starting at almost square one for many of us!
weird you would start to watch horsemen but cool.
@@daviddougherty3687not weird at all. UA-cam can enable all sorts of interests and hobbies. Weird that you’d think someone couldn’t develop an interest in something new. Hopefully you don’t apply that type of limited mindset to your life so that you are able to experience new things.
I am a super fan and have been watching you both for years and this is the first video I have seen where the word ‘gay’ has even been spoken. I am all for people living their lives as privately or as openly as they wish, however, I also feel that positive queer representation is crucial in destroying stereotypes and stigma and being more open also allows you to control your own narrative. I wish you both the best and always look forward to seeing your content. You are both assets to the equestrian world. ❤
Exactly my relationship with them and I couldn’t have said it better. “Family” follower from 🇿🇦🏳️🌈
Love it like it is and your energy together. You make me smiling so hard and my heart gets so much joy and warmth. So much needed. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. It helped so much. ❤❤❤
I waaay too often did things in my business that I hated. That's not how to live a life. --
My husband and I tested positive for Covid yesterday so I was lying here feeling lousy. I needed a laugh. Thank you for brightening my day. Happy Easter to you both.
Why test? It won't make anything different.
@@lieke9460 Um, so that you can avoid giving it to others, so that vulnerable babies and old people don't die from it! Duh ! ! !
@@cattymajiv If you are concerned about other people getting ill, you should stay away from them if you are ill. Period. Doesn't matter if it is Flu, Rhino, RSV or a corona virus.
I work in a hospital. Leave policy is determined by results. My husband is asymptomatic but is a waiter. We don’t want to pass this on to others. And sometimes it’s just nice to know. We have a lot of flu and RSV going around as well.
@@rlesourd7680 which is fine to pass ofcourse.
Thanks for this Easter posting. Videos showing your interaction as a couple are my favorite.
. Hello from El Paso , TX
You are such a delight Jesse - ADHD or not. Let’s not forget how attentive you are with the horses and it takes a lot of mental energy when your not speaking in your native tongue. I like Matt’s perfectionism. You’re my inspiration to just keep on working till I get it right. I like hearing about your various projects and inspirations. Would you both talk a bit about what it takes to manage the stable and how you choose the feed for the horses? What did you get right and what experiences inspired change?
I really love this format so much, it's such a nice break from everyday life to just listen to you two chat and have fun!
For the next video:
Do you have any tips on riding anxiety/ getting more confident with your riding?
Matt: I highly recommend a wound dressing called SilvaSorb® Antimicrobial Silver Dressing features a hydrogel sheet with silver that combines controlled-release ionic silver with advanced fluid management. This wound dressing helps wounds heal very fast--it forma a very thin almost unniticeable hydrogel sheet that keeps the edges of the wound hydrated in a way that totally minimizes scarring. The rapidity of healing using SilvaSorb is quite remarkable. (I am always getting cuts and minor wounds, so I have lots of personal experience with this) I am sure it is available to you or can be bought online.
Omy you 2 are so funny 😂 I love these vlogs and I love your relationship ❤
Y'all are amazing!! I love the Unstable podcast! I can't imagine doing everything you guys have done in your young lives. I really admire y'all. Bravo gentlemen!!
You two are so funny together. One if my favourite adventures you had were the trips to Africa.
I just can't love you guys enough!! Your dynamic is priceless and precious. Both of you are gems, Jesse... You are just perfect the way you are.. Do not go get tested 😘
Until next time. LOVING these videos!
You make my day so much sweeter. I hope I can watch your videos until I drop dead - I need a steady dose of Jesse+Matt. Auf Wiedersehen ❤️
