In this video, I'm excited to share 3D maps of country ethnic groups that I created using Blender, QGIS, and data from reputable sources like the CIA World Factbook, Wikipedia, and Britannica.
By combining data from various sources, I've created visualizations that highlight the ethnic diversity within some of the world's most populous countries.
Instead of focusing on specific locations, the maps show the distribution and average representation of different ethnic groups.

In some countries you compare ethnic groups, in others, nationalities. In Belgium you have half of the population speaking French, and half of the population speaking Dutch, but you put all together as Belgian. In Switzerland, there's 4 languages that define the 4 ethnic groups of the confederation, but you show all of them as Swiss, and then you show the composition of the immigration by nationality. Same with Spain and its 5 languages.

It’s fascinating how each country classifies different ethnicities and who they choose to include.
The minorities in many European countries tell you a little bit about their history and values.
I am reasonably certain there are ethnicities other than Arab or African living in Saudi Arabia, but they are just ignored. It is also telling that persons from South Asia and the Philippines make up more than 65% of the UAE’s population.
Yes same in Tunisia, the country hate amazigh people so much that we don't have the real number. That's speculation but I think there are much more Jewish in Tunisia than what it shows on the video

See the African countries and there are dozens of different ethnicities. But everywhere else, they’re classified under umbrella terms “black/African/Caribbean” etc.

As the map shows, the main ethnic group is the Spanish, which descend from the Iberian and Celtic peoples that settled in the Iberian Peninsula. Regarding Moroccans 🇲🇦, Spain and Morocco are neighboring countries and have strong historical ties. As for the "Others" group, there is an important Hispanic-American community (Colombian 🇨🇴, Venezuelan 🇻🇪, Honduran 🇭🇳, Ecuadorian 🇪🇨 or Peruvian 🇵🇪) and also British 🇬🇧. To sum up, Spain is a crossroads of cultures! 🇪🇸❤️🌎🌍🌏

The terms, "black" and "white" are not ethnicities. They are inaccurate colour descriptions of skin.

Finally a video with correct information about Brazil, most people think that there are only black people here, when in fact we are as diverse as the USA, the difference is that our government and media have never been against miscegenation, which is why the majority of the population is mestizo, currently it must exceed 50%.
Your government was so for miscegenation that there was a term for it: branqueamento. There’s a famous painting of it called A Redenção de Cam that perfectly encapsulates this theory.

Because Sundanese people mostly live in the West Java province and Malay are mostly in Borneo (Kalimantan) and Sumatra. If you compare both of each population, West Java itself has about 49 million people with 71.87% of them are Sundanese (and it's not included Sundanese people who live outside West Java) while the whole provinces in Borneo & Sumatra islands has only about 5.5 - 6 million of Malay people.

I noticed this too. They really wanted to make it seem like we Mexicans are mostly indigenous. I took a DNA test and I’m 70% European and 30% indigenous.

This is not the YT owner’s classification- he is clearly drawing it from the statistics of the country itself. China is a perfect example of the country prioritising its people into Han Chinese and others.

@@santhoshv3028 That is not what I said - the statistics being used on the video classify ethnicity into Han and ethnic minorities without breaking down the statistics for other minorities, in the way other countries have broken down the specific numbers of other minorities. Please check the China part again. If I missed the breakdown of the statistics of the other minorities then I apologise. But I saw a statistic lumping all the other minorities together, without a breakdown.

Absolutely useless video.
It didn't show real population distribution. Almost empty areas are shown with huge numbers while high-density areas are shown with low scale.
A simple chart would do the same job but you give uneducated people a feeling like these populations are equally distributed within the whole countries.
So what that’s not the point of the video
@@zach2382 It is. It's declared of "exploring the colorful mosaic" but it doesn't show the real distribution. Therefore you don't see clusters, mixed areas, empty areas, segregations and so on.
