    I am so inspired by your travels. I'm taking notes. There are so many places I want to travel to. I can't wait. I need to find a way to finance my journey. That's the only thing holding me back.

      Thank you so much! Yes, sacrifices must be made, for sure. Not sure what stage you are in your life, but when I was studying in the US, there were so many scholarships available (at that time). So my first journey abroad to study was about 90% financed and not from my pockets. 😅 I wouldn't have known it was possible if I didn't apply. ☺️ Wishing you success on your journey!

    Totally understand being overwhelmed by tourists. I live in venezia the summer was absolute hell I had to leave the city(island) for a month. Thank goodness it’s dying down now

    I enjoy your content. I'm a pharmacy student who hopes to work for a pharmaceutical company abroad one day. Thank you for the inspiration.

    Welcome back, Kenya! YESSS I noticed your gains, go head girl!! 💪🏽You've always been so toned (did you do track and field or sports in high school?), so I thought it was just me that forgot how toned you were lol your year of travels sounded splendid! Cheers to you catching more flights in the months to come! 💞

      Ciao Charisse! Haha, thanks so much! You always encourage me along. ❤️ I've been in some sport almost my whole life and just through high school. I stopped at university because I had other priorities 😅, but I went on and off to the gym. Thank you for tuning in!

    Finally! We missed you Kenya! And yes, I definitely noticed those 💪🏽! I was so excited and inspired by your travels. Is there not a "peak" season when visiting Rome? I am hoping to take a sabbatical in Italy and some European countries in the future. Tfs and continued success with your endeavors!
    P.S. Would love to know more about acquiring real estate in Italy especially in this current economic climate. Is it wise to rent or buy as a foreigner? And I would love a regional breakdown (e.g. weather, culture, etc.) of Italy.

      Thank you for the warm welcome back! Well, in theory, the peak months are like June - September usually, but now I feel like every month has been wild and full of tourists! It is Rome, though... 😅
      Thanks for suggesting the real estate topic, as it is a hot topic for foreigners that want to move here. My initial suggestion is always to live/rent for at least 3+ months - one year in a place you are considering living, or try multiple cities before making a real home. I've heard a few stories of people buying properties in certain areas and then regretting it because the city was not what they expected it to be. That's definitely not a mistake you want to make!
      Grazie for watching and for the suggestions!

    I have been watching your videos and following you for a while now and let tell you how happy I am you confirmed that you have a twin sister😂 I watch her UA-cam videos as well and I thought I was going crazy seeing the same face but in a different location! I love your videos, they make me want to move to Italy more every time I tune in. Do you have any suggestions on how to find a job that will sponsor you? I feel that not having a degree lowers my opportunities, but as we know school in the US isn’t cheap. My dream is to live in Italy, even if it’s only for a short time!

    • @NaturallyKenya
      @NaturallyKenya  Рік тому +1

      Haha! Yes! That’s her. 😂😅 Thanks so much for tuning in. I’ll just be frank and super honest that it’s nearly impossible to find a job in Italy from abroad without a good level of Italian that will allow you to have a legal work visa. Remember, you have to find it and do all the paperwork before ever arriving in the country. Not impossible, but close to it. 😅 Also, on the educational note (and I’d need to find the statistics to support this statement, although I think it’s true), Italians are more highly educated than people from the States. I find this due to the level of value put on schooling in society and also accessibility to many programs at generally a much lower cost than the US. Therefore, I’d suggest you find an Italian school and learn Italian for a few months here for your opportunity to have a study visa, learn the language, and live here legally. Let me know if you need any further advice! ☺️
