If you ground to the hinge, connect to the upper part by the pipe base, because the hinge pin may only conduct in a few spots. Thanks for yet another take on the DIY mast!
I have used it for over a year, I have moved it to the other side of the shop with a starduster. I don't sell them. I just thought it might help someone else.
