BMW E60 Front parking sensor replacement

This movie will help you to diagnose faulty parking sensor and explain steps that need to be taken to replace it.
This is fairly easy job, only problem may be with removal of the headlight.
You need to take your time with this, don`t force anything as you can brake it.
This sensor can be ordered from eBay, but please confirm with the seller to make sure that it is correct part for your car.

Update:! done this and there is no point to remove the headlight for that mid sensors, Just remove the lower central plastic grille from 2 clips holding it, the lower grille under number plate then put your hand inside and u can reach the sensor easy, I have a not so slim hand so if I can do it you can too.

I have my PDC failure as well and OBD does not show anything. I sent it to the service and a BMW reader can find both sensors in the front (middle) broken. Now trying to find a sensor that has same color than you car.

No, sadly on the other side of the car you need to loose front bumper bolts to get access to the sensor, on the top of bumper, two above registration plate and you may need to loose some screws on the wheel side

Can't you take the pdc apart and change the front side of it so you keep the same color?

I will not recommend doing it, I did same as you want to do and I have damaged one of sensors. It is better to but colour spray matched by code and add small layer of paint.

Thanks for the answer💪🏽 I ordered 4 sensors so I can sacrifice 1 of them😅 i m thinking of heating that plastic up with a heating gun a little.
