- 1 kg whole chicken
- 8 tablespoon yoghurt
- 0.5 kg tomatoes
- 6 green chillies
- 1 tablespoon ground ginger
- 2 tablespoon ground garlic
- 1 tablespoon dhunya / coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon crushed pepper
- 1 teaspoon zheera / cumin powder
- ¼ teaspoon haldi / tuermeric powder
- 1 teaspoon chaat masala
- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
- ½ teaspoon garam masala powder
- 2 teaspoons kasmiri chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon crushed and roasted dhunya / coriander
- ½ teaspoon crushed and roasted zheera /cumin
- Freshly cut dhunya / coriander
- Cut garlic
- 2 teaspoons methi / dry fenugreek
- Handful cilantro
- Lemon juice
