I don't get how you manage to get Rocksmith to register notes and shit with 100% accuracy, even if I play the song 100% correct and making it sound proper, I always end up with like 98 - 99% accuracy :S
not saying his playing is bad, quite the opposite, like you said - note detection on rocksmith can truely be annoying when dealing with really fast parts and legato etc. i think what he did is probably change the note detection leniency setting to higher which you can do in the settings, i think that's how he manages to get the full 100% of every song.
late reply but what you want to do is set your screen latency in the settings so that you hear the tic at the exact moment the little light pops up. if you've done that and are still having issues, make sure your intonation is set up perfectly on your guitar. it isn't enough to have the open string play the note in perfect pitch as well as having the 12th fret in the same pitch, you must also have the 12th fret natural harmonic pitch perfect too. having the correct action will help, truss rod adjustment can be annoying so it's worth taking to a luthier if you're not sure how to do it yourself. above all that, the pickups are super important here, make sure they're at the right height and when you plug into an amp, each note is clear. I find lowering the pickup height and raising the height of the posts (can't be done with all pickups) brings a brighter tone and the real tone cable works well with that. if you have active pickups then make sure the battery isn't almost dead.

The leniency setting doesn't apply to score attack. You want to set the latency as low as possible to get better note detection.

How do you get all the notes to register? Because when I play Rocksmith my game sometimes drops notes that I play cleanly and correctly for no reason.
The automated calibration isn't that great. You should manually calibrate if you want the game to work better with your setup.
