Great additional tips! I've been trying to break this down. I can land it but not consistently. You've given me some new elements to look at. I predicated like dismounting into a 1.5. Looks smooth and slick.
beefhook has been on my learning list for the longest time so thanks for making this video! btw, do you have any tips for dumshot? I can hit it about 1/5 times but I'm really having trouble getting the consistency down
Pull your throw hand really hard to get the string to go around the yoyo fast enough. You also don't have to slam your non throw hand finger into the loops crazy fast.
@@lvl18abilities Yeah basically the release of your thumb allows for the string to wip around your finger like a hook. If you realease your thumb as late as possible it will make the loop wip around faster and the loop will be more open making it much easier to land.
What's the name of the trick you hit at 0:59, right after the hidemasa hook and right before what I believe is a Brent stole? It looks really cool and I want to learn it

Great tips! I love seeing the variations at the end too. Could you do a tutorial on the reverse Brent stole rejection?
I can! However, Rowland balcom has a great tutorial on this trick. Here's the link: ua-cam.com/video/kVBDAaiWVrg/v-deo.html
@@hobbygodThat would be great! I have watched his video several times but am still struggling.
@@YoCoker I'll give it a shot. One thing that will definitely help is really pulling the rejection hard.
I learned this literally in 5 minutes
Dumshot link for the lazy ua-cam.com/video/FOOYdFi12A8/v-deo.html
I didn't realize this was a thing, will try get this down before I move to beefhook.
Thanks for putting the link. I thought I had it in the description but I did not:(

It is called a reverse brent stole. The other part of that trick is a ninja vanish rejection.
@@hobbygod thank you! That's next on my list
You can dumshot into pineapple catch. :D
I've never heard of pineapple catch. Can you link me? :) thanks for commenting
