With Carlito looking at the destroyed and lifeless town vowing revenge on America Honestly would love to see that

Jo's theme is all about "gonna feel like hell again", so I'm willing to say she's not just driving by lust, sadism and lack of empathy, but also a deep unhappiness with her own appearance and life. She clearly wants to be like the women she tortures out of envy and short of that possibility, she instead decides to make them as miserable as she is. Jo also wears shades, both to seem more cool and to hide her insecurity behind (fittingly, in her death scene, she loses her shades).
I noticed when you kill Steven. You get a glimpse at his store ID. He shows him as a young teenager. He really has been there forever. Which makes it even sadder. Great video by the way. This should have more views.
Very interesting! This adds more meaning and depth to his character (as if he didn’t already have so much)! I really appreciate the positive feedback, thank you!
someone mentioned that Roger and Jack were already crazy to begin with and wanted to hunt people and now the Zombie apocalypse has given them that excuse and the remake touches up on that if you let Thomas live
I think the convicts were already insane before the outbreak also I don't know how they got their hands on an army jeep with a machine gun likely they probably killed a few soldiers who were at the prison and they broke out
Man I'm so glad that in the remake they made it to where you can spare Thomas because in my opinion he didn't want to do any of that stuff his father and brother were doing he was just unfortunately bullied into submission by the ones he called family
The music that plays during Sean's boss fight is called Bored Again, which is about an old, lonely man who - tired of every day feeling the same with his relatives never visiting him - goes over the edge and does something drastic, giving some insight as to who Sean might have been before he decided to start a cult.
It's not really a good call for Cletus to hand out guns willy nilly even if it helps others. Especially when the mall has a 1/2 split of people open to kill anyone and people just trying to survive. He's not at too much fault for being untrusting.
@@76l24 it's a zombie apocalypse in a mall, and he has majority of the good weapons. The Psychopaths in the game mostly have their hands on Melee weapons, anyways. Plus, shooting people trying to not die only is a net bad- one less survivor, one more Zombie.
Jo Slade is not mall security but an actual police officer. Did not see someone in the comments mention it ( if someone did I apologize ) But noticed a lot of the other errors already get mentioned.. So I figured I would at least mentioned it for posterity sake.
Definitely worth mentioning! Thanks! What mislead me was her badge and hat, but seeing as she does refer to herself as a police officer. It makes more sense.
I have a theory that the reason for Cletus being so paranoid is because someone DID steal guns from his store. Specifically, The Hall Family. How else could they get those guns and all that ammo in the mall if not from Cletus.
NICE bc the hall family look and act like they go hunting but them to be carrying that kind of stuff in abundance in a mall no less is unlikely so yeah that checks out
Roger and Jack and aptly named after two characters in "The Lord of the Flies" as they attempt to coerce and manipulate others into complying with their evil, brutal ways. In the deluxe remaster, Thomas reveals that his relatives have been looking forward to hunting humans for ages.

@@telldemboyzcatchup I’m happy to provide the content you looked for and if you can, I highly recommend playing the game. I truly appreciate your comment and more are on the way 🫡
there is a slightly less sympathetic angle to Adam's story: he is so afraid of the zombies that he would rather kill a human being than facing hordes of zombies again, giving him a bit of a cowardly nature. It is somewhat hinted at by his failure to save his audience from the zombies as well, especially given his impressive set of fighting skills. Adam might be suffering from survivors' guilt because of his realizing that he could have saved them, if it hadn't been for his cowardice.
20:54 I’m glad you mentioned the fact they somehow return to the park after you kill them. Not to mention sometimes it happens more than twice for me in some play throughs (same in the remaster too)
Oh, there was no way not to! I cannot stress how upset I was when I had 3 survivors, short on time, and the only way to get them to the safe house is through leisure park (because entrance plaza is closed), only to find the convicts are back after beating them… 😔
My favorite boss fight in this game is isabella, her fight is different because she doesn’t really WANT to kill you, if you run away from the fight she runs away and you fail the case. that makes her pretty unique, and she has a kickass theme song. I hope if a new dead rising comes out they take inspiration from DR1 with the soundtrack and bosses tbh
I played this game from the age of 6 to 25 and every single psychopath absolutely scared the piss out of me but now you throw all this extra shit in the mix and it just makes them all the more sad and now I gotta feel bad about killing them thanks a lot! In all seriousness I've been waiting for someone to tell me every single back story to these characters, true or not I loved it and I'm glad this game is getting it's proper recognition
I agree, especially with an OP weapon lol but during my first play (as a kid), I used a baseball bat and was definitely thrown around a bit. They hit back if you melee spam, which I’m guilty of 😅
I finished dead rising just yesterday for the first time, and I must say how the psychopaths were my favourite part of the game. Not even the fights, just the satisfaction of defeating them only to watch more cutscenes with them, and understand them more. Carlito for a main antagonist was not as nearly as interesting as other side psychopaths like Cliff and Steven, I was absolutely fascinated by their unreal creepy nature. The writing and acting simply make this game the only thing worth the playing.
Two things. In the remaster Thomas doesn’t fight at all. Instead even after you kill his family he collapses to his knees and starts crying. Showing how the father tried and failed to corrupt his youngest like he did his oldest. And two, you should do another video like this for the psychos of the second game
I did fail to mention the pressures Thomas was facing and kind of grouped him with the bad guys😅 he’s definitely an understanding character. Also, you can definitely expect a DR 2 and 3 psychopath breakdown in the near future 👍
I love the presence of psychos in this series, than just worrying about the threat of the zombies it showed how humans are the worst enemy due to how unstable they can be if they either lose their mind from stressful situations like here or taking advantage of the situation for their benefit. As much as it would be good to help save people like them, some that are still in their right mind but do evil acts willingly are long gone. I can imagine a small handful of psychos that couldve been redeemed if the protagonist approached them properly like Ted from DR2. Im glad the remaster made it so you can save Thomas from the sniper family(sorta)since he didnt wanna even shoot living people but was just pressured. Some cases like Steven are iffy since he probably dealed with looters a lot in the past and just lost it just seeing any average person wander into his store so I doubt talking it out would work unless Frank insists he wants to "buy" something. Those like Jo are beyond saving and to me are purely evil by harassing and torturing innocents getting some form of power trip from it.
I completely agree, there were some good points about the idea of Thomas being rescued or willingness to join you after you literally take out his family, but the concept about psychopaths having a turning point or a realization moment after defeating them, is an interesting one. I really enjoyed your explanation 👍
@Odd_EndeavorsLIVE Thanks. And as for potential redeemable people sorta like Cliff and perhaps even Cletus even though in the latter case he just became scared and ran away thinking Frank is trying to kill him. For Cliff it was bound to happen once any traumatic moment happens around him which can be said for most anyone with ptsd but his is extreme so he would be hard to snap him out of it.
The convicts are good examples of sociopaths: violent, impulsive, chaotic and very poor integration into society Brock is a good example of a psychopath: emotionally cold, calm, organized and well-integrated into society
The funny thing about Jo the guard is...she could have had that control and respect she tried to take by force.....the worlds going to hell in a handbasket and shes a security guard at the mall, armed and capable of fighting as we saw in the boss fight. If she had just done her job and saved people and protected them from the zombies she wpuld have been a voice people listened to when it came to devision making and looked to for safety and respected her as their protector. Instead she made her choice and dies seen only as a rabid monster that needed to be put down. Imagine a scenario were she wasnt a psychopath. Your are explorong the mall when a cutscene plays of Frank hearing a commotion, going to investigate he sees a store front with 6 or 7 terrfird survivors in it being attacked by zombies and outside it is alone mall guard, probably the only one left in the entite mall trying to hold back the ravenous hoard from reaching the store, the fight isnt about defeating this gaurd who yells insults at the undead but clearing them out and keeping them from reaching the store. You look at that guard as some one worth repecting and your want on your team and a voice your be willing to listen to because they already showed they are willing to lay down their own life and keep others safe.
This was an excellent breakdown of an alternative character development and a “what if” moment. Keep in mind that part of her character is sadly sadistic 😔
@Odd_EndeavorsLIVE yup it was sadly the only thing that prevented her from getting what she clearly wanted. Ah well fun to think about and not like she's a tragic character like Cliff or the Clown.
@@Odd_EndeavorsLIVE Hell yeah man, I subbed! Hopefully sometime you'll deep dive DR2 and 3's Psychopaths' also. But looking forward to anything else you put out, good luck! And keep it up!
Nice job on this video! I learned so much I never knew about this game and I’ve played it a few times since it’s original release. Keep up the good work!
Larry so truly sees Frank as a genuine customer that he will not fight him unless Frank attack first. However, I've read somewhere that supposedly the deluxe remaster hints at the fact that Larry has been selling human meat to his customers even before the outbreak began - that would imply that Larry was mentally ill even before the outbreak. I believe there is some merit to that theory, as he seems very non-chalant about zombies in general, unlike others suffering from psychosis such as Adam who is shown to be terrified of them.
The fact that Willamette mall is one of the last places to fall means that in the intro before franks arrival, the psycos could have been on the brink or even snapped, adam could have had people to entertain, steven would have been hiding in his store, cliff for all we know could have still had his granddaughter, sean could have started the beginnings of his cult, brock and the convicts are the only psycos that weren't at the mall when the zombies broke in, so there could be a chance certains psycos could have meet before they snapped.
Carlito may be my favorite villain and psycho due to how his act of terrorism became an important role to Dead Rising 1 that then extends further into Dead Rising 3, even tho Nick Ramos wasn’t mentioned in the list of orphans. But TBH, Cliff will always remain my most favorite due to how realistic his PTSD insanity is, then after you defeated him, he regains his senses and see all of his wrongdoings. Not to mention, him breaking down and hearing him being close to death did made me feel emotional since he was a good old man deep down, and I feel like a monster for killing such a guy, even tho there was no way to help regain his senses. Also, since we don’t know too much about Cliff, I can picture him being a wholesome grandfather to his own granddaughter, and how her and his whole family help to push away his own demons. But of course, when the outbreak happened and Cliff heard his granddaughter scream in dying agony, his own demons come back to haunt and possess him, possibly telling him that the “war is not over. Not for him.” I can picture him trying to imagine the entire mall as one massive battlefield, Chrislip’s hardware store as an “armory and his own hunting grounds”, kinda like how Rambo treated his whole entire ranch as his own battlefield in “Last Blood”, and of course, Cliff sees survivors as Vietcong soldiers and zombies as possibly hostile Vietcong soldiers, which explains the hanging bodies. TBH, Cliff deserves to have his own spinoff side story to show what his life was like before the outbreak, then once the outbreak strikes. It should be like how Hunter of Dead Rising 3 got his own side-story before his 10 minutes of bike leader tyranny has been put to an end after being defeated by Nick Ramos.
Would have found it an interesting detail that on the way to the enterancebat the very beginning, they added some conversations or even NPC’s of the later to become psychopaths. Like, talks about a priest hosting a new type of prayer session that they say will protect them. A nervous corner hiding glasses man, very insecure, trying not to be spotted amongst the rest. A built man, looking for his grandaughter. Just ones that’d make a bit of sense being near the entrance at the start and running away to be in their position. It’d just add a little bit of world building. I would have liked an optional detour to look around the mall before the zombies come in. But yeah.
I said this before but the psychopaths in part 2 are just assholes lol Like part 1 is understandable because the zombies were just starting to happen out of nowhere. By part 2's time, the world knows about the existence of zombies for a few years so going crazy way after that is just silly.
Something that I think was lost in the later games was how surprisingly in-depth some of the psychos are in the first game. Adam, Cliff, and Steven are all amazing and I feel like the only psycopath who arguably lives up to their characterization later on is the mail man from 2, and Chuck from OTR but I think that's cheating.
Playing the remake and I found the battles against Carlito’s pretty easy, as well as the one against Isabella. I killed her pretty quickly with the shotgun. Steven was pretty easy using a shotgun too because I had been to the gun shop first. 10:53 that’s a cash register.
I’m currently playing the deluxe too and oh boy am I struggling 😅 but I’ve noticed the boss fights are not as difficult… Steven’s allergy to fish is still very prominent… I hope your play through goes smoothly
Fun fact about the convicts: in the original game, the voices were accidentally swapped between Sam Franklin and Miguel Sanchez, so you end up hearing a black character speak with a stereotypical Mexican accent.
11:33 You should have mentioned Chop Till You Drop and the Deluxe Remaster. Namely because Adam shows more signs of sadness in the deluxe remaster and Cletus at 15:47 lives in the Wii version of the game. 18:38 WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL HE AIN'T MY BOY BUT THE BROTHER IS HEAVY!
Sexy smooth Styling Video my man! Looking cool Scrared yet? Really like the editing & pace. Nice attention to detail, as a huge Dead Rising 1 fan it's cool see it's cool seeing videos like this. You did a good job analyzing characters & relating them to the story. I like how you showed each individual spot of the map & explaining why said location fits with each psychopath's physicy. I feel like that's something the other games lacked & slowly departed away from in each following installment (even OFR make the mistake of focusing on the crazy part of psychopaths without relating them to the story at large. As the player it felt less like the world was connected & more like you ran into some crazy person by accident. The entire allure & basis of the series is the time restraint.). What makes Dead Rising 1 special is how each day progressively delves more into insanity & brutality. From the amount of which zombie spawn, location of items, level of intensity each boss presents, the growing struggle & desperation with each passing survivor, the thrill of the game is seeing the mall slowly into a war zone forged in hell all because one man wanted express his own pain upon the world the way it forced it's self onto him. Dead Rising 2 was great but it felt Chuck stumbled onto them by accident while roaming through the outbreak instead of Frank toughing it out to help other's in the effort to uncover the truth behind the outbreak at any cost. Even if it means putting himself in harm's way to prevent the same level of harm happening to other's. After-all, the cannon ending is that he saves everyone in 72 hours. In Dead Rising 2 Chuck doesn't express any emotions or remorse of having to end another living life at the cost of saving another living person's. Even in Case West Chuck just shrugs it off while Frank understands that although war never changes, the cost of saving lives always varies. Not in the efforts required but in the outcome of what happens next.
The cult is another good example. Day 2 has a mass of lunatics unleashing their deep & repressed to unleash pain onto others while, 2 had military personnel slowly being over ran by drugged up zombies high on nitro & fart clouds.
I really appreciate this! And your breakdown of the psychopaths in the first game is in line with my interpretations or perspective. After finishing DR2 a couple weeks ago, I can definitely see the difference in meaning from the first game. I’m really happy you’ve enjoyed the video, I’ve had some productive feedback on getting some of the information wrong but this will improve drastically moving forward. Hope to see you in the next one! 👍
There's a special place in Hell for Carlito, I get he's angry but you can't blame everyone in a country for what their government did. Most Americans had no idea and they would protest and say what their government did was wrong, Carlito's a absolute monster who used his tragedy as an excuse to hurt people.
There are some very strong points here. Although I do agree that his action is absolutely unforgivable, he demonstrates an emotion we all have and we’re all susceptible to… anger, if left uncontrolled, there’s no telling what lengths you’ll go.
@@Odd_EndeavorsLIVE I get that too, it's just when you look at real life examples of people who use their tragedy from childhood or just tragedy in their past to harm people it doesn't make it excusable, I know you're not making excuses for his monstrous actions I don't think that at all, I know you're explaining about how we're all susceptible to anger and Carlito just gave in to his 1 billion percent. I'm just explaining my side of things, interestingly enough the actor who played Homelander points out how people are willing to give villains leeway and passes if they had tragedy in their past, which is something that is never done in real life with real people who've hurt hundreds and thousands of people.
While the gameplay is suitably over the top for classic Capcom, they really cooked with the story taking itself seriously, something that was kinda left behind as the sequels went on. Frank was a great unconventional protagonist, it's fun to see how he engages with the psychopaths.
The dynamic between Frank and Kent is oddly reminiscent of the one between Peter Parker and Eddie Brock from "Spider-Man", right down to their profession. Also, while Frank becomes less of a jerk throughout the story, Kent (while a big one from the get go) goes off the deep end. Kent also proves to be beyond saving in his dying moments, where he massively overestimates the value of a picture of his dying self, showing how self-important he is (and how unrealistic that self-assessment truly is).
Here's what I would diagnose each psychopath with: Adam trauma-induced psychosis Cletus alcohol-induced paranoia Convicts antisocial personality disorder Kent narcissistic personality disorder Cliff PTSD (flashback-episode) Jo malignant narcissism (combined traits: sadistic, antisocial, narcissistic) Sean narcissistic personality disorder Paul social anxiety disorder with paranoid features Hall Family antisocial personality disorder (Roger and Jack), some symptoms of mental abuse (Thomas) Larry psychosis, possible onset before the outbreak Brock psychopathy Carlito and Isabela are complex and I’m not sure about them, if I’m honest - they might not end up diagnosed with any kind of condition if evaluated.
Man I really love it when zombie games have the surviving humans as the main threat, like don't get me wrong, special zombies are cool and all, but in things like in Dead Rising and the Walking Dead is that more often than not, the greatest threat to a human is another human pointing a gun at them.
Paul is not a bad person indeed, although arguably, his pyromania does hint at some kind of mental issues that cannot be entirely explained by his paranoia and insecurity, unless of course you interpret it as his way of trying to regain control and be powerful.
the youngest brother in the sniper family was more forced or pressured into it by his older brother and father and the butcher said he doesn't serve zombies he have a reputation to uphold
It's not entirely clear how much of Cletus' paranoia is due to the outbreak and how much of is due to his alcoholism, both of which are likely to cloud his judgment. While many point out his distrust of people is not unjustified, I believe his ironic death is meant to show that Cletus has been unreasonably suspicious of people as he fails to pick up on Frank's peaceful intentions until the very end.
I'm suprised we didn't get a scene of Carlito and Isabela's elderly mother finding her way inside the mall to scold them with a rolling pin for their behavior.
What I don't get is. When did all of these incidents happen that made them snap? The clown's audience died but when and how. There's no blood, no corpses. And most importantly. The mall was barricaded. Are you saying all this time before Frank arrived. That they weren't already insane and were STILL going about like a regular day. While it's barricaded, wouldn't there have been mass rush on the food store. Wouldn't people prioritize safety over entertainment of a clown, who for some reason didn't kill the zombies attacking his audience. But if this all happened before the barricade, then how did the zombies just vanish suddenly?! This makes no sense!
This is a sane perspective lol If I had to take a guess, certain parts of the mall had to have been overrun and the entrance plaza was the safe haven (before Frank). Which explains how majority of the psychopaths take place in the other sections of the mall, since the initial outbreak. It’s not clear, though🤔 Interesting point, nonetheless!
Fun fact about Kent: They removed the sexy-picture challenge from the deluxe remaster, probably to avoid sexism-allegations. Ironically though, it only robs Kent of a trait of his: his sleaziness.
Was Steven's mentioning of "customers" before his death meant to show he's regained his senses like Cliff? I'm not so sure, if his last line "Clean up! Register Six!" is meant to be more than just a joke by the devs department.

The music that plays during Sean's boss fight is called Bored Again, which is about an old, lonely man who - tired of every day feeling the same with his relatives never visiting him - goes over the edge and does something drastic, giving some insight as to who Sean might have been before he decided to start a cult.
just like Jo's mentions "gonna feel like hell again" after waking up in the morning
The funny thing about Cletus is he was right to be paranoid, the guy he shot was infected, he's the zombie that takes him out.
Or not trusting anyone and killing them came back to bite him in the ass... Literally lol so he was wrong
I figured the guy he shot got turned while he was outside.
The guy wasn't bitten before being shot. It was Cletus' own paranoia that did him in- had he just given the guy a gun, he would've lived.
In the Wii version, she is another psycho zombie
Would you be interested in covering the psychopaths from the other dead rising games?
Absolutely and you can expect a video on it soon 👍
I have a theory that the reason for Cletus being so paranoid is because someone DID steal guns from his store. Specifically, The Hall Family. How else could they get those guns and all that ammo in the mall if not from Cletus.
NICE bc the hall family look and act like they go hunting but them to be carrying that kind of stuff in abundance in a mall no less is unlikely so yeah that checks out
they don't strike me as compassionate enough to leave Cletus alive after the fact
I absolutely love these videos. I would love to see you cover 2, OTR, and 3's bosses
Thanks!! Absolutely it’s already in the works! I hope to bring more videos you enjoy 🫡
I always thought Paul was blind when I was younger.
Roger and Jack and aptly named after two characters in "The Lord of the Flies" as they attempt to coerce and manipulate others into complying with their evil, brutal ways. In the deluxe remaster, Thomas reveals that his relatives have been looking forward to hunting humans for ages.

Thanks mate and keep up the good work 👏
@@telldemboyzcatchup I’m happy to provide the content you looked for and if you can, I highly recommend playing the game.
I cannot stress how upset I was when I had 3 survivors, short on time, and the only way to get them to the safe house is through leisure park (because entrance plaza is closed), only to find the convicts are back after beating them… 😔
@@Odd_EndeavorsLIVE fr 😂
If I'm remembering right you have to destroy the jeep to keep them from respawning. I don't know if it works in the remaster/remake
I can describe this video in a word. *"Fantastic."*
Although non canon (i think) adam does have a brother in dead rising 2 off the record. He even knows Frank killed Adam
Awesome video, this is incredibly underrated, definitely one of the type of channels deserving of more subscribers
Your kind words are incredibly helpful and appreciated! Thank you
My favorite boss fight in this game is isabella, her fight is different because she doesn’t really WANT to kill you, if you run away from the fight she runs away and you fail the case. that makes her pretty unique, and she has a kickass theme song. I hope if a new dead rising comes out they take inspiration from DR1 with the soundtrack and bosses tbh
I see a lot psychopaths as misunderstood bad guys who lost everything in these apocalypse games, movies, tv shows
I played this game from the age of 6 to 25 and every single psychopath absolutely scared the piss out of me but now you throw all this extra shit in the mix and it just makes them all the more sad and now I gotta feel bad about killing them thanks a lot!
In all seriousness I've been waiting for someone to tell me every single back story to these characters, true or not I loved it and I'm glad this game is getting it's proper recognition
lol had me scared for a moment! I’m glad you enjoyed the video, you can expect a DR2 breakdown very soon!
Not enough videos on the lore of the psychos, subbed 🔥!
I completely agree, but the ones that I have seen are definitely worth checking out. They inspired me to make this video!
@@Odd_EndeavorsLIVE - I'm pretty glad to hear that, keep up the good work!
The family don't use brute strength. They use hit and run tactics.
I agree, especially with an OP weapon lol but during my first play (as a kid), I used a baseball bat and was definitely thrown around a bit. They hit back if you melee spam, which I’m guilty of 😅
41:48 in the remake if you leave Thomas the youngest alive he just gives up
Preem quality for a channel that's modestly growing, have a sub and a like. Keep on keeping on dude!
Thank you! I hope to keep bringing the content you like!
this is really good for seeing this for the first time, we need all other games to be covered for the psychopaths
I appreciate that and understood 🫡
You can expect a continuation soon!
I am not entirely convinced that Sean is "delusional" or just a manipulative bastard (which cult leaders tend to be in real life).
Absolutely fantastic video man. Not alot of lore videos on the psychos and right on time for the remaster.

Thats an awesome video i hope to see more deep dives into more of the psychopaths in the second and third game

It's good you chose the og version.
Bout to finish 100% achievements on DRDR to this!!! Woot woot great video brother
FANtastic!! 👏👏
The butcher and Steven knew each other. Larry delivers the meat upstairs to seon's for Steven
But yeah.
I said this before but the psychopaths in part 2 are just assholes lol
Like part 1 is understandable because the zombies were just starting to happen out of nowhere.
By part 2's time, the world knows about the existence of zombies for a few years so going crazy way after that is just silly.
knowing about something is one thing, being exposed to it firsthand hits different, trust me
Something that I think was lost in the later games was how surprisingly in-depth some of the psychos are in the first game. Adam, Cliff, and Steven are all amazing and I feel like the only psycopath who arguably lives up to their characterization later on is the mail man from 2, and Chuck from OTR but I think that's cheating.
The only thing scarier than zombies is a fellow human being, who's lost their mind.
I used the machine gun from the convicts on Steve and he died in like five seconds.

Larry DIDN'T want to serve zombie meat, why the mistake?
While Off the Record isn't canon, Chuck put it best in that that people should be coming together, not breaking further apart.

@@spideyfan6296 That actually makes a lot of sense, well said. I definitely can agree with that perspective 🤝
@@Odd_EndeavorsLIVE 🤝
Exactly!
I forget how fucking smart og Dead Rising is. Like for 2006 that is some deep and somewhat nuanced writing
Here's what I would diagnose each psychopath with:
Adam trauma-induced psychosis
Cletus alcohol-induced paranoia
Convicts antisocial personality disorder
Kent narcissistic personality disorder
Cliff PTSD (flashback-episode)
Jo malignant narcissism (combined traits: sadistic, antisocial, narcissistic)
Sean narcissistic personality disorder
Paul social anxiety disorder with paranoid features
Hall Family antisocial personality disorder (Roger and Jack), some symptoms of mental abuse (Thomas)
Larry psychosis, possible onset before the outbreak
Brock psychopathy
Carlito and Isabela are complex and I’m not sure about them, if I’m honest - they might not end up diagnosed with any kind of condition if evaluated.
What horror game should I do next?
Dying light
The Silent Hill series? The first one came out in 1999.
Not too scary but maybe Dead Head Fred

Man I really love it when zombie games have the surviving humans as the main threat, like don't get me wrong, special zombies are cool and all, but in things like in Dead Rising and the Walking Dead is that more often than not, the greatest threat to a human is another human pointing a gun at them.
Paul is not a bad person indeed, although arguably, his pyromania does hint at some kind of mental issues that cannot be entirely explained by his paranoia and insecurity, unless of course you interpret it as his way of trying to regain control and be powerful.
Kent always reminds me of Scout from Team Fortress 2 for some reason
You’re not alone 😆

It's not entirely clear how much of Cletus' paranoia is due to the outbreak and how much of is due to his alcoholism, both of which are likely to cloud his judgment. While many point out his distrust of people is not unjustified, I believe his ironic death is meant to show that Cletus has been unreasonably suspicious of people as he fails to pick up on Frank's peaceful intentions until the very end.

Am I the only one that spat on Paul to put out the fire? I’m barely finding out there was a fire extinguisher in the store lmao
You did the next best thing lol
Why is Steven T posing-
I'm suprised we didn't get a scene of Carlito and Isabela's elderly mother finding her way inside the mall to scold them with a rolling pin for their behavior.
This is a sane perspective lol
If I had to take a guess, certain parts of the mall had to have been overrun and the entrance plaza was the safe haven (before Frank). Which explains how majority of the psychopaths take place in the other sections of the mall, since the initial outbreak. It’s not clear, though🤔
Interesting point, nonetheless!
Kent Swanson qas always funny to me for looking like The Sherminator
Fun fact about Kent: They removed the sexy-picture challenge from the deluxe remaster, probably to avoid sexism-allegations.
Ironically though, it only robs Kent of a trait of his: his sleaziness.
i want a Carlito DLC, where you play as him during the test
Was Steven's mentioning of "customers" before his death meant to show he's regained his senses like Cliff? I'm not so sure, if his last line "Clean up! Register Six!" is meant to be more than just a joke by the devs department.
Really good video enjoyed it a lot 😄
