Definitely some of my favorite moments in manga especially when it’s shounen of all genres. Always not only gives me inspiration but again it’s seeing a different side of these characters that we came to know
i think everybody who read the manga also caught isagi's baby metavision in the 3rd selection. but recently rereading the U20 match, i notice Aiku did it in there too.

Hell, if we didnt know the whole second selection match against Rin, we would have said the same. Isagi made and brought his own luck, but to others it still is just LUCK.
It’s all perspective I actually agree with you. I initially interpreted it as “discrediting” someone but in a way it could be both. I always felt like in this scenario it was never intentional for him to be rude which is why I didn’t really blame him for seeing it that way. After all the hard work you’ve been through only for someone to see your highest peak in your career to just be referred to as “luck” can be very insulting but not surprising to say. He wasn’t there the whole journey so you’re right, it’s all perspective. I love this manga and the discussions we can all have about it really
When they started spouting names like manshine city, FC Barca etc I started losing my mindddd thought that was the coolest thing having real European giants implemented in a manga have always dreamed of something that huge in a sports manga and this is done in just the most interesting fashion🔥
