- Save money by taking a few minutes to make your own pliers rack! Its really easy and saves a ton of space. Here is the wire shelf I used - homedepot.sjv.... (affiliate). You can use anything just make sure the brace that runs perpendicular to the thin wires is in the middle.

Great idea! I am going to build one but will flip it so the handles are towards the rear.
I have been using the same rack for over a year, I put the plier's head into the rack, instead of the handles, you can set the rack all the way against the wall, and easily put two of them in the drawer.
I made one of these out of a wire CD rack from the thrift store.
Cool idea. I love DIY, it's better because you made it.
I'm glad it worked out alright and was super simple to do, best of both worlds

Great idea I did a very similar rack for wrenches, pliers and snipped. Mine I bent at the other end plus to better hold the tools.

Very nicely done PJ !! I'm going to do this, no cost cuz I already have a shelf like that. I liked the wrench rack video as well. Did you ever make a 2nd rack? You know you don't have to angle it severely, the rails can be almost parallel. I won't have the same problem as you did because I don't have all those different types of wrenches. I really need to reorganize my box. When I get my shop built and I can make some money making projects then I can get a bigger box. I never had a tool cart before and really thought the 30 inch cart would hold more. Before I just had some canvas bags and tool box you can carry, maybe 16-18 inches long with a tray across the top. Im sure you get the picture. I'll let you know if I come up with any other organization ideas. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts and videos, Rodney
Its amazing how quickly you can fill up a tool box. I thought my 40+" Husky would have lots of left over room but its filling up fast on me!

Have u ever seen the combination wrench holders ppl make from heavy gauge wire,can't remember were I saw it but I always wanted to make some never had the time

TheStruggleville what's the depth of that specific drawer? I'm trying to figure out if it'll fit in the small drawers of the US Gen Cabinet (the smallest one).
