I came to your channel because I found one of these exact same stoves together with the windscreen, two of the same SIGG fuel bottles, the fuel pump, and a stainless steel SIGG Tourist mess kit for a whopping $3 dollars at a yard sale. I brought it home, and it fired up perfectly.
I'm so happy with this purchase, and I hope to get good use out of this new (to me) kit. I knew it was some great gear, but you helped me to learn a little bit more about it.
Thank you for the informative video.
    👍🙂👍

There's a suspension rig for that, nobody bought those.
    Nice [content], tanks dude.

pretty cool old original early MSR. might not be the most usable practical stove but still a piece of stovie history. glad you picked it up as you seem to really enjoy this old stove and will look after it. by the way, my MSR Internationale stoves are bullet proof so i expect “Ol Firefly” be the same

It fits the standard MSR pump or arctic pump. Does not work with the Dragonfly pump (the fuel line fitting is a different size).

    I have two of these.
One I converted to run on White gas and canister gas.
I use a Primus pump when using White gas, never been a big fan of MSR pumps.
This stove is heavy stainless steel and thick aluminum and is one of MSR's classics.
The wind guard is a PITA as it's like bringing another pot with you and you have to be careful with it its thin aluminum.
