I'm in the planning stage for next year to fly out for a few days on LW. Little late now but will be good and ready next year!! Thanks for the content Clayton!
Walleye fishing in the winter takes a lot of patience and effort, especially when they're in a negative mood. They're worth it in my opinion, but you have to put the work in.
Awesome vid Clayton! Finally got an Arclab transducer pole over the Humminbird junk, also getting more experience with the mega live! Finally found the walleyes and was able to get my dad a 28 in, 9lb walleye!
I would say it seems like you hit a cold front. Early while you were just getting there. But it seems like it's settling down to more normal action. Less spooked for noise or something else. Ice cracking, other variables. Nice fish. Great video, thanks for sharing
Great crew of people! Looks like Kris had you guys on a decent pod! You'll get a massive greenback soon. Do another video for springtime in Hecla. I know you have done one in the past, but really good chance at some big girls. Love the content!
I like it better when you don't overlay the Livescope footage over your main video footage. Sometimes the fish in the water column blend into the background. Also a question for your next Q & A: Do you think live imaging could be outlawed in the future? It sure keeps my kids engaged in fishing and they ask to go with rather than me having to say let's go fishing. Keep up the great videos.
Awesome vid as usual Clayton, but fell asleep on the first attempt to watch it lol not because of your vid but just got home from a second trip to northern Ontario. It was a very productive day first time fishing with a under water camera on shallow water lake Couchiching for jumbo perch and a PB northern pike through the ice measuring 38” what a mess of lines and Cameras nothing lost thankfully lol cheers and safe travels. 🎣
@CSO, Fishdonkey opened up there master angler program! 61 species! you and Jay Should compete and see who can catch the closest to the 61 and go for the master angler!
Great videos question for you I’m look to get into the garmin live imaging set up. Just wondering what kind of unit you might recommend for icefishing only not much of a boat guy. Thx.
What were you going to say about the fluorocarbon or line? I’m headed there the beginning of March and would love any other tips for setups! Also with the warm up is the auger extension needed? And how long of livescope pole is needed? Sorry for the question drop 😅
Now that the way to run and gun. In a hd truck, radio blasting, heater cranked and the live scope handing out. Only better thing you could have done is a drag race with a donut competition.
That reminds me of days in college. Using a 1' interval knotted decoy line and weight to find depth. Then the thought of not knowing if we were fishing empty water but we usually caught fish.
Love the look of a beauty greenback!

You’re due for a giant out there for sure. Thanks for the shout out! 👊
Cheers my friends!
Clayton, we caught a 12 or 20 inch 3 pound ling. Ice fishing today just before we we're packing up to go home.

Awesome fishery. Aggressive fish. I personally have had good luck on rattlebaits. When they slow then I’ll jump to spoon or jig with a salty.
Got my master rainbow out of lyons today!
Thanks for all the videos!

What is your PB walleye? Laker?
Good stuff. I'll have to look for Mike's video too! Waiting for the windchill to come up a bit to get out this afternoon.
Another great video from CSO, cant wait to be up there in a few weeks.
The lake just wants to make sure you come back a few times before giving you a 30 incher. Great Video!
✌

I think I am gonna try to get up there this March :). And again in May.

Can you do a video on what settings you use for your livescope I can't get mine to look at clear as yours

Hell ya. Another CSO vid. Man this is shaping up to be a wicked week.

Look and move, look and move. That's the way you DO IT.😅😊

Nice work... that looked like a pretty dang good day of fishing even with out a 30🍻
Man you give it!!!! Thanks for all your work !!👍👍🐟🐟
What type of battery do you run on your livescope?

Question: is a 13 pound pike in your lakes
Go get em!
Nice
I'm still waiting for your live chat on UA-cam clayton
Nice !
Awesome video. When using spoons like the kastmaster do you use bait like minnow tails etc or just bare spoon?
I switch it up. I use a minnow head sometimes... Sometimes I use belly meat from a fish I have kept, maybe an eye ball :)
Awesome 👏 love to see it
That fish looked like it bounced off the bottom after you released it. No wonder it scared off the other fish.
Probably just kicked up a cloud of mud. But it did look dramatic!
I'm booking with Chris...if I can fly in close enough to his location.
You can fly to Winnipeg :).
@@ClaytonSchickOutdoors Yea duh...not familiar with CAD if you can't tell.
@@FishinBud should have said he’s about an hour away from the airport I believe. Sorry :)
@@ClaytonSchickOutdoors yea thats close. Perfect
I live in NY and can’t find any places to ice fish walleye and even lakes they are in I can’t find them no matter what I do
What livescope pole is that? Looks nicer than the summit
Arc lab motor sport. Love my setup!!
Tip 6: save up for a livescope 😂 Not needed of course, but highly useful
How thick is the ice right now? Heading up there in a few weeks.
it's about 30"s. Few more to go before you need an extension. You can virtually drive anywhere even with 2 wheel dr.
@@owatajrkiam thanks bud

You guys should try a challenge day where no one can use any type of electronics

I use a map and tipups much more excitement
That 23" walleye gets bigger and bigger each time you tell it! 26" maybe 27ish! Lol!
Better get out there and show me what a 27” walleye looks like… negative Nancy, all your comments on any video have been trash.
Your truck is dirty. 😂
❤️👊💪🎣
