Portuguese league is ranked the 6th best league in europe. Efl championship is 7th. Gyorkes is now playing the equivalent for a good prem team with sporting vs a league of championship teams, apart from 2 others. For the money he'll cost he's way overhyped and not worth the risk.

I am Poch in for sure. Sacking Poch in the current circumstance would def be embarrassing for the club and board BUT....Amorim's foorball would be more suit the current crop of players. To get Poches football to really click the club would need 3 more signings. On a business level changing the manager would be easier. The following players would thrive under his system:
MAATSEN (IF HE STAYS)
COLWILL
TREV (IF HE STAYS)
CHILWELL (PROPER LWB WHEN FIT but as a LB without a left center back to back him up he gets cooked 10/10 times and its hard to watch)

Amorim is the right man for the Chelsea Manager job. He is a serial winner far better than Pochettino. Look at what he is doing in the Portugese league with Sporting CP. They are on top of the league table with a massive 7 point gap over Porto and Benfica. He will transform Chelsea.

Whomever comes in next as Chelsea manager. They need to have great in game management and have a CV of winning top trophies galore. Prefer either Mourinho or Tuchel or Conte. Anorim sounds like a good option but we have to remember the Portuguese League is different from the English Premier League. Also we need John Terry as an assistant manager.

With all the transfers in/out they've gotten right, Palmer is their one major blemish. I'd be careful buying players they feel are expendable. Doing so will keep us a level or two below them.

Then Amorim is a sexy name but are we realistically going to win something with this man, I’d rather stick with Poch. If your going to get a manager in look Simon Inzaghi, the job he has done at Inter Milan to maximise players on a tight budget. Plus they were unlucky not to beat city last UCL final. I think we’ve trying to experiment to much, bring a proven manager in!
Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I can’t help but think that bringing in another manager will just set us back another year. It seems a waste to give up on Poch now when we’ve seen year over year that bringing in a new manager every year won’t get automatically allow us to contend. If you look at any of the top teams (Arsenal, City, Liverpool, etc), their managers all struggled in the first year. IMO, bringing in a new manager will results in the same patterns we’ve seen for years.
