Okay but why do we check to see if it’s gonna be pos/neg? and why do we need it to be a certain one? My teacher uses these for our lessons but i didn’t understand it so i watched the video and it still doesn’t make sense to me 😭
All of your mnemonic devices cause unnecessary mental clutter. If you must memorize the formulas, then memorize the formulas. Remembering half a dozen different tricks to help you recall three basic patterns is ridiculous.
why do u have to hate? Big thanks to him as he is giving out free materials with the best explanations. If u wanna hate just don't watch these videos. You find them ridiculous while I find them super helpful
@@abdallahsaleh1359 It's not hate. It's mental efficiency. There's simply no need to memorize a bunch of rules in order to memorize a handful of other rules. It's wasteful, IMHO.
@@johnnolen8338 tbh I was struggling to memorize the derivatives of inverse trig functions but I found this rule so helpful. Other than that I have them all memorized.
@@abdallahsaleh1359 If it works for you, then it's good enough. For myself, I usually draw a reference triangle and then just derive anything I need to know on the spot from sine and cosine.
@@johnnolen8338 it can be simplified into 2 rules which is a lot better than retaining 6 different derivative formulas.. also eventually after practice youll have them memorized by the formula and not as a mnemonic device
I’m watching your video on my school computer taking notes and your mnemonics are borderline GENIUS! Thank you 🫶
Thank you so much!!! I have my finals in 2 days I really appreciate your efforts
I wish you happiness
Great videos. Thanks Mr Bean. Our whole class relies on your videos.

Remember guys: "If you remember the formula, life is easy"
amazing video, helped alot.
Mr bean thank you so much 😭 u literally saved me

Can you use calculators for the last problems?
I'm so cooked Mr. Bean..
I’m officially the biggest Mr. Bean hater
Watch your mouth before he touches you in the denominator.

this is why students have no real understanding of math
