Kudos for the most consistently informative, reliable, original and entertaining food reviews on UA-cam! Next time you're in Downtown Vegas, would love to see reviews of two places that get frequent mention on Vegas forums yet little or none UA-cam coverage despite their unique product: Dona Maria Tamales Restaurant ("The Best Tamales in Las Vegas" and the rest of their Mexican food offerings looks awesome!) and Curry Leaf - Flavors of India, an updated spin on traditional Indian dishes. Both places are walking distance from Fremont and seem mighty intriguing, but could sure use the Bill & Lisa seal of approval! Keep up the always fine work - your vids are as anticipated as they are enjoyed!
Thanks for the recommendations, Jeffrey. Looking at both locations, they're pretty far (for walking) from the Fremont Experience, like 12 miles. lol Maybe when we get a rental car!
My bad! Should have mentioned that Dona Maria Tamales has two locations, with the walkable-from-Fremont one being at 910 S Las Vegas Blvd, just past the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop. As for Indian Food, I >meant< to type Turmeric Flavors of India but mixed up the two very similar names. Turmeric Flavors of India faces the Container Park. No way would I send my two favorite food vloggers on a 12 mile walk --- forgive me. :)
Always hit up Little Italy in San Diego. So much more enjoyable than the touristy Gaslamp. The farmer’s market on Sundays is incredible. You should have grabbed a beer at Bolt Brewing, literally two doors down from Barbusa (one of my favs as well). Try a square of potato pizza at NaPizza nearby next time as well. Will be in SD in a month. Great video!!!
Love Little Italy! I’m not sure how close you are to a train station but you may enjoy taking the metro link to Oceanside and catching the Coaster down to San Diego. My mom and I did that today, we live closer to Oceanside actually so we only had to take the Coaster but it was only $11 round trip! It’s really nice not to drive and you don’t have to worry about parking.
Bummer! I missed you both by 2 days! Going to Little Italy tomorrow (Friday). I found one of your SD videos where you got a cannoli at Zuccherio and a pizza at Napizza. Gonna go there tomorrow for sure!
Hi guys! Want to let you know that you are an inspiration to us. We went to Portland last week because of your Portland visits! So much fun! Next time you go check out the McMenamin properties: the Kennedy School and Edgefield. Really cool places and good food.
I would love to see you review the Not Not Taco Restaurant in San Diego. It is owned by Sam the Cooking Guy and since you guys give such good honest reviews, I would love to see what you think!
WOW WEEEE .... You two did it to me again. You did it in NYC with the pizza and now with the pasta. Both outstanding dishes and the fresh, homemade pasta is the best. Two things, first, for your "next time" list San Francisco has a very large, nice farmers market in the Civic Center on Wednesdays and Sundays. Second, in your recent Q/A you mentioned FB.. How do I add you or add me, jerome morgenstern, sf, ca. Thank you again for introducing me to a fun place in San Diego. jmo
Agreed, can't beat fresh pasta! Farmers Market sounds fun, but we usually head home early Wednesday morning. For Facebook, just search Bill & Lisa's Travel Page, and like it. Hopefully that will work.
Both dishes look so GOOD!! Bills dish especially!! awesome day guys ENJOY!!
Wowzers 3 videos this week AWESOME Thanks for sharing 📸👍👍👍👍👍📸🙏🎈
You're welcome, Drew! It was fun!
Congrats on the 4K+ followers on UA-cam. Your channel deserves the views. Thanks for taking me along your foodie travels.

Pasta looked delish!
That pasta looked amazing!!
I love it , I live just a mile from this Restaurant . !!!!¡
Well now I want pasta 🍝 😆
Great vid as always!
This place looks yummy. Been looking for good Italian since my favorite spot closed several years ago. Thanks!
Next time in Little Italy San Diego, we will check it out! That pasta looks INSANE! We did Filippi's...great atmosphere. Traditional. Worth a shot.

@@jm_c2440 LOl! It's all good, Jeffrey! We remember seeing that Indian restaurant when walking around Fremont East. Bookmarked them both!
Those pasta dishes look delicious!
Food looked so yummy. Another great video, but you always make me so hungry. Lol
LOL! Thanks Joanne!

Thanks for the recommendations, Rick! Thank you!
Pasta looked yummy. Going to have to give Barbusa a shot next time I'm in San Diego.
That tomato clam pasta looked yums...though not too crazy about the peas in the other dish. Eating gelatto in sunny cali, can't beat that!
The carbonara with fettuccini cream sauce and bacon jumped off the screeen wow !!!!!
LOL, Joe!
that dish that had the peas looked so good
It was yummy! Highly recommend both dishes!
Great as always congratulations On the subscribers much more to come in sure💞💞💞💞
Thanks Vonda!
a little red pepper in that clam dish would take it to another level
Soo good bills pasta looked awesome I want some😋😋😋
Both pasta dishes we had were tasty!
That looks really good for a casual place.

We did take the Amtrak a couple times from the OC to SD, it was fun!
Wow looked amazing.
Both dishes were delish!

Nice! Have fun eating your way though Little Italy! So many food choices there!
I went to that same gelato spot and it was the closest thing to the gelato I had in Italy a few years ago.

Glad y'all have fun in Portland! Amazing waterfalls and great food, what's not to like? LOL
Pasta looks amazing!! 😋 little Italy food hall, isn’t that where “Sam the cooking guy” has his restaurant? I watch his UA-cam videos as well.
We believe so, might be that Not Not Taco. We'll try and check it out next time we go.
Your looks pretty today, Lisa!
💖💖
YUm yum!😁
Carbonara is one of my favorites. I do love handmade pasta. I'll try out Barbusa next time. Maybe take a train trip next time?
We've taken the Amtrak to SD a couple times in the past; it was fun and convenient. Just felt like road tripping this time. lol
Hi Bill and Lisa...do you guys go or have gone to the Farmers Market in Torrance, at Wilson Park?
Yes! Been there plenty of times, cool vibe!
Thanks for sharing. How about reviewing the buffet at San Manual Casino in Highland, CA.
Haven't been there yet, maybe!!
I would love to see you review the Not Not Taco Restaurant in San Diego. It is owned by Sam the Cooking Guy and since you guys give such good honest reviews, I would love to see what you think!
Hopefully on the next trip to SD. You're the second person asking about NNT.
Both look good - especially the seafood ! Is the sangria potent ?
Sangria was good, but had others that were more fruity. Went well with our pasta dishes though!
Where is the bread to sop up all that goodness?
Cost extra, so we didn't order any. lol
You Two spin the fork very well on the Spoon. Lisa better than Bill.
LOL!
Lis come on! Give the seafood a break-EAT MEAT
