I'm about to start buying parts to convert my limitless to a typhon. I'll get more use out of a typhon than a limitless. I wasn't sure but all the speed run vids and now you, it's not just a thought being thrown around.
Happy for you man that look good and I like the fact that you use the stock electronics and you actually run the same pinion and spur that I have in my 6S.typhon.. Man after a run like that you deserve a shot of ray and nephew... Maybe if you put the hoons that are slightly larger and diameter you might get the 100
YO Yoooo! If Im buying a new system its probably gonna be castle. Wanted to go hobbywing but still gonna cut, better to spend the extra 50 bucks or so with way more head room. Goal is to hit in the 120/130s or so.
If you leave the motor and swap out the esc for 160A esc you'll get more out of your lipos. The voltage cutoff happens alot when your trying to max out the 6s system
Yep yep! Just challenging myself to see how far i can get with the stock system. If i end up changing out the electronics it will probably be to use a Castle system, that'll give me all the power i need to reach the moon 😆
I bet if you use the Hoons not grp you can probably get few more miles per hour. I have the felony rear tires on my typhon and it rips with 27T and 46spur. Probably doing around 85-90MPH i gotta post a video on it soon. Hoons have more surface contact better grip. They might help out
I'm gonna try out some gearing first. The motor was pretty cold after that first run so I can gear up. I'll definitely have to test out that theory of yours too 👊🏾
I was saying it has the limitless v1 gears which is the 13p 43s. The limitless v2 or infraction comes with the 15p 42s, more suitable for higher speeds.
Oh yea big time. If I swap to the Infraction GP5 diff set then it makes it way easier but car needs tons of room to breathe. Probably run out of range.
Heck yeah man thats the nice south FL weather for you. The typhon comes with limitless V1 diffs which are 13/43. The limitless v2 comes with the GP5. If i had those in there I'd hit that 100.
@@ghost61 Using what power system? stock spectrum 150a is very sensitive to gearing and trigger pull so that may be a bit more trouble than its worth. If you go with Castle you will have tons of room to mess with and yes will easily get you over 100mph.

You should try a max6 esc give you a little more wiggle room before you cutout

That's still a beast I would use v2 infraction diffs u will get alot speed

@@GregSupe because I got a typhon with infraction v2 diffs in it it's a big monster right now on 8s it's reach 170mph

I got another typhon that has the new limitless v2 diffs in it that is too fast n tailon can reach 165mph on 8s that one haves the v2 limitless diffs
