I'll never understand why Caroline and Thorne couldn't have stayed together. I always thought she and Ridge were an awful match. Brooke is really the woman more suited to Ridge. Thorne and Caroline were much more similar - more family-oriented, salt of the earth types. Ridge and Brooke were more the hedonistic type. Brooke was also a real opportunist. Ridge might have been one if not for the fact that most of what opportunists are after - money, power, status, sexual conquests - he was either born with or had no trouble acquiring through conventional means.
Brooke hurt Steph by taking her husband, She took Macy's husband from her and almost killed her. She took Taylors husband from her twice!!! She took her daughters husband twice.. She slept with Ridge during her marrige to Eric. She tried to take Taylors fiance from her right before the wedding. Right after she got of the plane from Sydney she went straight to Nicks house and "jumped" into bed with him, she didn't even go to see her own KIDS before she went over to Nicks place.
Did Donna become involved with every man Brooke was involved with? I know she married Eric; she wanted Ridge for a new york minute; and now Thorne ... wow
If the Logan girls, minus Katie, think they are so much better than the Forresters, and don't really like them or love them, why can't they just turn their backs on them and walk away?? This is the best payoff that I've seen in a long, long time. Love how Stephanie backed off when she realized that she couldn't get Thorne to stop the wedding; love the Stephanie/Katie scenes (hope to see more of them in the future); love seeing poor, clueless Thorne finally come to his senses; and, finally, love seeing Stephanie throw Donna's "blah, blah, blah" back in her face. LOL!

When the show first started, Donna was sweet and caring (was also played by a different actress). I really, really liked her. Watching some clips of the new Donna, I really despise her. I don't know if it has to do with the character that has become more bitchy than the original one, of the fact that the new actress playing Donna is not playing well..
It's so funny yet sick that Eric is defending this wedding, and not much later is sleeping with the same woman. First Brooke when she was with Ridge, and now Donna when she was with Thorne. I'm surprised Eric didn't go after Katie when her and Ridge had a fling not too long ago.

@h06anbjo Well Phoebe gave them "her blessing", but deep down she was hurting. When she came back right before she died she admitted how hurt she still was, not just by Rick but by Taylor. That didn't just go away overnight. And about Jack, that was mainly Taylor's insecurities towards Brooke. She had no problem with Jack being someone else's biological son, but when she found out he was Brooke's she freaked out. She couldn't take care of him because all she saw was Brooke.

Trick was perfectly fine until Rick decided that a baby wasn't in either of their futures and started planting seeds in Taylors mind about doubting her ability to be a mother to Jack... And bragged about getting him back to Brooke, kissed him and tried to seduce him. I'm not blaming Taylor for the way Rick behaved after that, but did she ever think what an impact that would have? I mean Rick hated Ridge enough already, let alone when the woman he loved dumped him days before the wedding, FOR RIDGE! That is what made his hatred towards Ridge take over.

She has been hurting people from the start, when she pretended to be Caroline's friend after her attack, then tried to stop her wedding to Ridge by hiding the letter Caroline wrote to him. And others have no desire to be anything other than what they are:poison.
Brooke and Ridge moves on together and that's fine.... Taylor comes to term with that... Then Tridge get's close again and Thomas is concieved... Brooke delibratly keeps Ridge from finding out Thomas is his and keeps Taylor away from Ridge so that she can't tell him, she then moves up the Bridge wedding so that Taylor won't know about it... Was this not done to HURT someone???

And that wasn't Brooke's fault or Taylor's. It was no one's fault, but Taylor did not only blame Brooke, but also Bridget. She accused Bridget of doing this intentionally, she was going around with the assumption that they had planned this. That I couldn't stand!

It was the fact that he wouldn't calm down around her and the fact that she had tried EVERYTHING and it had been going on for months and the people around her weren't being supportive, both Rick and Nick going behind her back to Brooke... Despite the fact that the show was better during this era, it was sloppy writing making the men into horribly decisive or indecisive morons based on what ever the plot needs them to do. Eric is a prime example. Donna gets her claws into Thorne and manipulates him, yet he decides to be with her? smh

That didn't just go away overnight. And about Jack, that was mainly Taylor's insecurities towards Brooke. She had no problem with Jack being someone else's biological son, but when she found out he was Brooke's she freaked out. She couldn't take care of him because all she saw was Brooke.

Trick was perfectly fine until Rick decided that a baby wasn't in either of their futures and started planting seeds in Taylors mind about doubting her ability to be a mother to Jack... When ever there is a crisis in Taylor's family life(like the TayJack situation and Phoebe's death) Taylor gravitatets towards Ridge and the life they shared before she died...
I do no why they put up so much to stop a wedding.No marriage ever lasts on this show. This is a repeat of what when on with Ridge,Brooke and Eric. Only now, Donna, Thorne are the case.

And bragged about getting him back to Brooke, kissed him and tried to seduce him. I'm not blaming Taylor for the way Rick behaved after that, but did she ever think what an impact that would have? I mean Rick hated Ridge enough already, let alone when the woman he loved dumped him days before the wedding, FOR RIDGE! That is what made his hatred towards Ridge take over.

Yes, she makes mistakes, and some really bad ones, but she's not after revenge and doesn't try to hurt people like Amber does. Amber is all about revenge and she doesn't care if anyone gets hurt.

@h06anbjo Yes eventually she got over it and Brooke assured her she was no threat to her relationship with Jack or with Nick. But it still ruined both those relationships. And that wasn't Brooke's fault or Taylor's. It was no one's fault, but Taylor did not only blame Brooke, but also Bridget. She accused Bridget of doing this intentionally, she was going around with the assumption that they had planned this. That I couldn't stand!

Taylor worked through her insecurities regarding Jack being Brooke's bio son. It was the fact that he wouldn't calm down around her and the fact that she had tried EVERYTHING and it had been going on for months and the people around her weren't being supportive, both Rick and Nick going behind her back to Brooke... Then the Big Bear thing happened...

Brooke decides Ridge cannot be happy without her and goes after him... Then Taylor dies...
