I freaking love Living Books. Those games were so addicting to play just because of all the funny crap you can click on! I played a lot of them back in grade school, including the two in this video. Ruff's Bone was definitely one of the tripper installments to the series.
That Living Boos theme gives me just a rush of memories every time I hear it. It's just so nostalgic for me. Back when I was but a little Mallow, my mother was a public school teacher, and for some reasons she had computers in her classrooms (Which is weird, since she was a music teacher...) My brother and I used to play these things since they came preloaded on the computer. I vividly remember the haunted house one. Idk why that one stuck with me the most. But if we were stuck in school because mom had a meeting or whatever, we would always start up one of those. Or play some tank game I can't remember he name of on a flash game website.
This does remind me of how ridiculous token girls like Amy are. Like, seriously, just make a realistic girl character. In other words, writing an actual character.
+PikaMewTheGreat Girls in kids shows/games are typically "OMG you stupid boys," and dumb shit like that. Same cardboard cut out. Not that the male characters are any better XD
+Whovian Pon3 Yeah, I see what you mean. At least it's a tiny bit better than "OMG boys r life! I need a boy to breathe! I'm totally dependent on boys! I'm so weak and helpless without boys!" But not by much.
+Whovian Pon3 You point out exactly why I get annoyed when people complain about token characters. All characters in these low budget projects are generally just token X character. Like, can we just say "We need good characters all around" for once?
I remember asking my parents to get me Ruff’s Bone after I played the demo. My dad took me to Egghead to get it for me, but there I saw Lego Island and got him to buy that game for me instead. I never knew just how weird Ruff’s Bone would have turned out to be!
I remember owning Arthur's Birthday when I was little. Good times. I still have the disc but it looks like it was raped by Freddy Kruger's claws and scratched to death. It still works, however, and I like to revisit it every once in a while.
Oh my god that jingle at the beginning brought back childhood memories I didn’t know I had! I sang along with it and I didn’t even realize it till halfway through! Man I need to find my copy of Stellaluna and replay it for the nostalgia factor! Edit: I forgot I had Ruff’s Bone too!!! Ah the good old days before the mental illness!
It always suprises me how different ian looks with his different haircuts. The first time I watched him it tookme a minute to realize that was even him. 😂

That's the best ending in history of UA-cam game reviews.
someone hasnt seen Jontron's Nightshade video
Its really nostalgic
Love that UA-cam Poop-style sentence mixing.
I can't wait for Jimmy Davis' new YTP:
Stinky Feels Up Stupid Idiot Moron Boy in the Spooky House
Living Books are basically YTP’s in book form. The bizarre things that happen combined with the sentence mixing makes it perfect.
Such good dance skills.
Best in all of UA-cam
I bet any Ninja would be jealous
Did you teach him those dance moves, Jeff?
Are you talking about brutalmoose, or Harry?
LOL...-uigi We...we had to be talking about Harry.

When is a new video coming out Mr. scarfulu???
