Hey Josh what is your take on the Nike React Tiempo Legend 9 TF. It is their latest turf shoe. Is it quality for astro turf, I am thinking of buying and using them as a replacement for normal and standard FG cleats as I play a lot on turf! Thanks~
I mostly play on FG but I use the Legend 9 academy on Astro turf and they’re extremely comfortable. No pressure on my feet and no slippage either. I’m sure the top end Legend 9 with the react sole is even better and more comfortable.
I have the Nike React Tiempo Legend 9 TF and my pair came undone from the toe area after first use. I’ve read other reviews stating the same thing. Really comfortable though.
I love these around the house to kick a ball with the kids, but also, are my new favorite shoes to wear playing drum set! Great feel and response on the pedals is important there too!

I love my premiers as well, mine are all black had them for two years they still work very well. The suede has softened up a lot but is kind of shiny where you strike the ball and dribble
Hi josh I already watched a few of your react gato videos and have owned this shoe for a year and it's been amazing. Played my best everytime without any blisters or injuries which has always happened previously. In the future I would like to upgrade to something better and the only shoe based on my research is the mizuno Morelia futsal. Would you be doing a review on that shoe in the coming future to share your thoughts? Or is the react gato still the better shoe?
Would they be better, bot necessarily. More so just different. If you're looking to try something new, I don't think the Mizunos would be a bad choice. Will you like them more the React Gatos, I'm not sure?
I think the flyknit material is too thick on these react gato. The new MERCURIAL ZOOM VAPOR 14 PRO IC feel is way better in my opinion in terms of touch sensibility and overall fit is more elastic, but also structured and robust. Have you tried them? Let me know what are your thoughts about it
Just a PSA for anyone looking to purchase these!!! I bought these last winter and they are extremely comfortable and soft, however, they run incredibly wide and fit my foot very sloppy. I have a few friends who play professionally indoor for the MASL who bought these and had the same experience. Great for coaching or just to kick about, but would never wear these to the pitch for any sort of match related activities.
@@Cold_Cow0 dropping in size will only reduce the length (which was not my problem) and have little to no impact on width. You would end up with a boot that’s too short and still wide! My top 3 pairs for indoor (I play pro arena soccer) currently are: Streetgato, Lunar Gato II, and Mercurial Zoom Vapor 15 Academy. Streetgato is my favorite. Fit like a glove right out of the box, upper is phenomenal, pretty good traction, and very comfy with lockdown! Vapor 15 is incredibly narrow but soft and moves on your foot well with nice traction (fits like a merc always does). Lunargato II is extremely comfy, okay traction, and has a veryyyy plush upper if you’re into that. I will say, I typically wear a size 11. I have an 11 in both the Vapor 15 and the Lunar Gato II, but a 10.5 in the Streetgato. I tried all three all on in both 10.5 and 11 just to be sure before making my decision. (US sizing)
I play on slippery indoor courts for proffessional futsal, and I was wondering if you would still recommend the street gatos for proffesional matches and if they slip on court. I find the street gatos too casual and the lunar gatos a bit outdated, but should i get the street gatos?
@@Nourmeanslight if I’m being fully transparent, the MASL plays indoor on turf, so I don’t have a lot of experience on futsal courts with the street gatos! I can say that they don’t have a super deep traction pattern, so they may clog quickly on slippery floors, but that’s just an assumption on my part. They are comfy though, and would feel great underfoot on a hard surface like that!
