  • These guys are doing incredible! Sometimes it is simply hard to believe that with their injuries, it is realistic to score goals again.

The video shows war veterans training in football on crutches. This adaptive game is also called #footballforamputees Rehabilitation through sports takes place on the territory of the municipal sports club "Dnipro", Cherkasy, Ukraine.

With each training session, war veterans improve their game, learn to feel the ball on the field in a new way, control their movements and body. It is difficult. And not everyone succeeds the first time. But there is progress!

Patrons helped us buy special crutches for sports. We have big plans for our veterans! We are currently creating a football team for amputees. Then we will participate in competitions! This idea very motivates boys!

Bohdan Kulinych is in charge of the team's training, a master of sports of the international class in football, the champion of the XV Summer Paralympic Games in 2016 in Rio de Janeiro.

We are glad that we can give them back the opportunity to feel like football players again.
By the way, sometimes veterans take their children to training. For parents, this is another opportunity to be with their offspring and increase their authority in the eyes of their own child. After all, despite the injury, my father can play football and score goals, even with one leg! The players are united by a great love for #football.
