I'm so glad I was able to see this band for (what would actually turn out to be) their last show as a six-piece. I may not have been a fan for long, but those six lovable beans have helped shape my life for the better. A bittersweet moment looking back at it, but I'm grateful it was (to my surprise) it was recorded so that I can cherish this awesome moment forever. Thank you Ben and Jess for helping to create some of the most awesome music ever. Also, I look forward to (hopefully) attending BearfFest next year! 🤘🔥
Wow...if that's a board recording, it sounds pretty decent. Thanks for the post. Saw them in 2019, and they blew my socks off. Not crazy about all the Autotune effects on the vocals on a lot of the new stuff, but regardless, this band has something that most bands could only hope to achieve in musicianship and vibe...and a very "real people" presence on top of that. It's unfortunate about losing the original members , but hopefully they'll still crank out some good music in the future.
We need more high quality concert material with this splendid band!!!!!!! But why the heck does the video look so hideously overexposed much of the time? And the delay effects are often overdone, but that aside, this is a fantastic concert, with splendid performances of strong material!!!!
Agreed, I actually like Frosting, but if you compare the other tunes to their earlier live performances that are on UA-cam, I don’t think this is an improvement xD I admire they are doing whatever tf they want though
Agree! I usually love delay and reverb, but this is often waaaaaaay overdone. If I had been Courtney I'd've been annoyed. But I guess they agreed on it from the start..
Their latest offering is one of the worst CDs in my vast collection. Talk about a band going downhill. No wonder they only play to 20 people these days. So pissed off with them as their earlier albums were brilliant.
I believe this album was created remotely during the lockdown. I am speculating here but I think for the band Frosting was more of a release and coping mechanism, something fun to keep the mind busy, and to experiment with different sounds. I could be completely wrong, but this is what I choose to believe.
I'm allways flabbered seeing this band....u need to come to The Netherlands

They played Providence (at Fete) after this show. But I agree 100% with your sentiment.

i would give a lot just to be there
I wish they'd stop modulating the delay on Courtney's voice so much! It doesn't need all that.

@@peterjurasek9297 Might partially just be the live mix too.

I love them but I couldn't watch it until the end. Really bad choice.

Ridiculous comment! Yes, it is more uneven than previous albums, but it also contains some of their best material.
The album is just...not for me. Not This Time is a great track though.
@@krisdaschwab912 Yeah, also not for me. Too bad, as I do love the band.

Frosting is awesome and a thoroughly worthy addition to the catalogue 🙂👍🏻
Badge Manser needs to be fired.
