I didn’t drink at all on my solo cruise (for many reasons) but being drunk alone on a boat alone did not seem safe for me.
Yes! Especially limiting your drinking. Don’t get me wrong I love a margarita, but when you are traveling alone, you need to be in control and aware of your surroundings. Don’t let anyone buy you a drink, and if you do make sure to take the drink directly from the bartender - be cautious if someone offers to go to an out of sight bar and bring the drink back to you. Don’t loose your brain just because you are on vacation. 🤷🏻♀️
That’s a great tip about people buying your drinks.
Oh yikes!! I bought the drink package on my upcoming Celebrity Ascent solo cruise as i do like 4-5 drinks a day through out my day and dont want to hear that mental cash register chinging. Really good tips!! I am binge watching your series!
Thank you! As long as you’re responsible, you’ll be fine. I hope you enjoy it ❤️
You always look great, but you look extra gorgeous here. You’re glowing! 😍
Awww thanks ❤️
Great tips! I always use FB to meet people on my ship so I don't do excursions alone.
I forgot to add that! I do that as well.
im going on the conquest as a solo cruiser dec 2nd and i will be getting the drink package only cause after using OBC ill only be out of pocket a little over a 100 dollars so its worth it to me, especially as i also am a major coffee drinker and soda drinker so those unlimited or limited ( spiked coffees) make it worth it to me, i also know my limits and keep to it
Little off topic, but I would love it if you did a cruise outfits haul!
A clothing haul is never off topic 😂. Thank you for the request, it’s definitely overdue.
Thanks so much for sharing this Jenn! All of these tips are extremely important for solo cruisers. These safety precautions can also be applied to any type of travel where you may be alone or even in an unfamiliar place with a a couple of friends. I appreciate you keeping us safe. Stay blessed. ✌🏾🛳️🥊🏋🏽♀️🥋✈️😊
Thank you Keshia!
Great points! Thanks for sharing 🛳️🛳️
Not a big drinker. Maybe one or two glasses of wine with a meal. Or a Mimosa with Brunch. Don't like to post anything on real time. Usually don't get out of the casino until the early hours. Many times they have to throw me out of the casino. Always like booking shore excursions through the cruise line. New subscriber. And did hit the like button.
Great tips. Thank you
I need to learn how to play in the casino. The slots aren’t kind to me lol
@@TheJennDanielle There are lots of games to play in the casino. Have learned to play most of them. There aren't that many games good for having a shot at winning or at least to hang in there and be a tough out.
Your channel encouraged me to take my first solo cruise last summer and these tips are great! Love your videos 💜
Thank you so much ❤️
I’m going on my first trip/cruise by myself this is very helpful
first rule of solo anything is don't tell anyone you're soloing!
Very informative. Thanks
Great tips, Jenn!
Thank you!

Thank you! I’m getting ready to go on my first solo cruise and appreciate the tips.
Thank you for watching! Enjoy your trip!
Great Advice
Great tip video! The social media tip is spot on, put the darn phone done and enjoy life! Thank you so much!
Thank you!
Thank you! I am going on my first solo cruise next week and this was very helpful. I've been on about a dozen cruises but never solo. This was helpful!
So glad it helped! Enjoy your trip!
This is a really useful video! I remember being horrified finding someone SO drunk on NCL Escape in the solo cabin corridor - I can’t think of anything worse than being in that position!
Oh my goodness. I’d be horrified too.
I really wish people talk about the other benefits of the cheers package besides the alcohol. You can basically drink ANYTHING on the ship
This would be a great topic for another video. I drank a ton of fancy coffee on my last trip and had pressed juice but it still didn’t make the package worth it.
Girl I have flown in at night twice on my solo cruises and you just pulled my coattail on it. Thank you for this. Also the posting in real time 😰very good tips
😂😂😂 sorry girl! I’ve done it too and sometimes you just can’t help it. Thank you for watching.
Aww, I already booked my cruise on Virgin. Next time I'll book through you
Thanks girly!
Thank you for the tips. You look fantastic. Looks like you list weight. Now I'm going to ask, where did you stay in Miami, and how far was the hotel from the Virgin Voyages port. Because of you and SIG the Solo Cruiser, I am taking my first solo cruise in September. And thanks for the tip, I was going to get the drink package. I'll have to think twice about that
Thank you! I’m trying but I don’t see it lol. I hope you enjoy your cruise ❤️
People need to hear over and over that flying in the day before the cruise is the best option. Now solo cruisers have one more good reason to follow that advice.
I’m always surprised that people travel the day of because it tires you out before day 1. I live in Atlanta so it’s maybe an hour and a half flight but I still wouldn’t unless I absolutely had to.
Thanks for sharing! I'm going on my first solo cruise this month. I booked a day pass at a resort near the port. Is this something you've felt safe doing?
Yes, but just be sure to plan out your transportation/ map the destination. Also, plan adequate time to return to the ship.
I want to book a solo cruise trip this July ! Do you need a passport to go on one ? Also whats the best cruise lines for solo travelers, thanks
From my understanding, yes. So I’m getting mines just to be on the safe side.
Baby I’m in the casino when the club closes but im sober but then
😂😂😂❤️ I hear you!
