Thank you for this in depth video. EVE is so daunting for new players and i'm struggling to find my way in to playing with other people but this video explained everything!
Before watching your video (today), I applied to join a Corp on Monday... haven't heard a thing... so based on your advice of 24-48 hours I'm revoking my application. I think six days is a little too long to approve someone. But after watching your video I'll definitely go through the Corp dashboard this time around and message a few CEOs!
7:38 *!* 14:29 Heyyyyy! Guns-R-Us Toy Company! Man, glad to see they are effective even back here 31:10 These are really surprising, honestly! But boy am I really glad they exist
"No one is working in a vacuum." I mean, we kinda all are. Its a space game after all. 😄 Awesome video! I was looking for a video to help me run my corporation better, but Im glad I finished this as it gave me certain insights that I either hadnt thought about recently or at all. Do you by chance have any resources for current corp CEOs trying to create a better experience for their members?
People not being on comms even if just to listen is a major handicap. Just yesterday we had 1 that did not authenticate on Discord yet. He missed every time the gate was red, green, and the sudden doctrine switch to counter the other sides sniper fits (we got solid intel last minute). Even if you do not speak, pls listen.
Just came back after a long break...past corp is of course gone. Sad actually, as you said in one of your other vids, I miss them. Been looking at corp ads and chatting with randoms in channel but it's definitely hard to find something when you're looking for what you had previously. Sad days on eve
You misunderstand me, yes I was referring to a matchmaking tool for corporations and individuals later in the video. However, when I talk about SeAT I am referring to the ESI tool used to verify user characters and history, activity, and engagement. These tools also often are used to synchronize user access to certain alliance resources, Discord servers, forums, Discord Groups, and op sec channels. seat-docs.readthedocs.io/en/latest/configuration/esi_configuration/
My corp officially uses Discord and Discord only. Secret channels, spying, wormhole mapping, sov assault and defense, a targeted ganking corp, all are on authenticated IRC channels.
The SRP he talks about is a godsent. Lost a battlecruiser/battleship during fleet? Get paid. Got ganked? Get paid. Also free doctrine cruisers and free mining vessels (get 2× Venture when joining, T1/T2 whatever you have trained, plus 1 Abyssal ship, fitted for whatever filament you want, from the faction you want, sadly not Gila's), and free fitted Caracal/Vexor (general or specific hardeners T1/T2, just state where you rat, up to 7 a week). Buybacks are also very handy. We got jumpfreighters from nullsec, bit low because fuel costs, but the rest is 90% Jita. If it does not arrive, and 99% of the time it does, you already got paid. No worries.
Arrgh! Third party tools. By far the best way to turn people away from Corporations. They are always a pain in the ass and always overly structured. Did I mention... "Arrgh!"
Join a corporation and then have all those things you bought with real world money stolen from you by other people in that corporation. EVE Online: the game that encourages griefing.

This was very helpful, I'm new to the game. I was directed here by a new UA-camr/channel Newb Eden.
Thank you so much for taking the time and the effort to produce so much very helpful material for Newbros and Veterans alike 😊
So glad you are back!
nicely segmented, satisfying for my ocd
i always enjoy the detail in Jurius Doctor guides 👍

Great video again Doc. Good to see more content!
Really well done. I feel dirty, enjoying this very informative video from the enemy.
There are no true enemies in EVE... only temporary opponents. Friendship is the best ship.

Maaaaaan I don’t know if I wanna pick up Eve again, I probably can’t recover my account that was up to battlecruiser command..
Thank you for explaining, it gives a good idea
What you are describing is a matchmaker not some seat. Loved the vid tho man

Hello from Fort St John B.C
99% of all problems in eve could be fixed by putting a limit of 100 members per Corp counting alts
Correction 99% of all content
This is too tryhard for my tastes. I'll stick to being solo.

"Im a member of corpo... bla bla bla" meanwhile on the corpo front page: "Long live Putin" xD
Some I'm sure, yes.
