Doesn't using two SMPS give you the same power as just using one since it is a split design? Or does power increase to each amp, maybe even double, by using two?
@@michaelcampbell9459 good question. I wouldn't know. But I want to have one monoblock close to each speaker so I needed two. I feel like there is more slam in the bass with two. But it might just be placebo 🙂👌
@@audiolife5038 I contacted the seller and he said having two probably wouldn't make much if any difference but didn't answer yet if the power is the same using one vs two, via the split design; if it increased the power then I would imagine a sonic benefit. I'm ordering longer 6' power cables from the SMPS so the amps can sit right behind spkrs with SMPS in the middle.
Did you get another SMPS to match the one that comes with it, or did you use two others and if so which ones? Was it an extra $100 well spent for the 2nd SMPS?
Which Sparkos did you use and how did you know they would be safe to use in these amps? How many are needed and do they just push in like on the Fosi amps?
Hi the op-amps to replace with Sparkos Lab, are they dual or mono, and another question between the D9 with blue PC or the D9pro, is there much difference in sound?
Would you say the addition of the 2nd power supply made a bigger difference than the Sparkos opamps?
My Zero Zones are on their way.
@@erichill5328 No not really. But it improved the bass which is the only slightly weakness of those amps.
Hello, can you please say where you purchased the Power supplies and if they are switching or linear, thanks.

Okay thanks, so these have one power output cable unlike the one that has Dual cable for both amplifiers.

Do the Sparkos make a huge difference versus the stock ones?
Not huge but audible yes. More dynamics and puch in the bass + some added reverb and spaciousness is what I felt

And yes it is worth having a second powersupply IMO. More dynamics and slam
Is the sound different with two supplies vs one?
@@Gilliboy82 seems more powerful and dynamic i feel. But might be my imagination
Would you choose a tube preamp or a normal class A preamp to run the zerozone monoblocs? Some good 12au7 tubes will do the job or..?

@@cf6040 it is dual yes. This is the one with the Black PCs. I have the one with the blue ones underway.
