I am Turkish, we don't even have rugby, I got the chance to watch and enjoy rugby back in 2003 when I worked in Africa. I fell in love with it, and then I fell in love with All Blacks. It was a great pleasure to watch the performance of the team yesterday, despite being left 14 men on the pitch. And so close to winning the game, it kinda breaks my heart but still very proud. Congrats to both teams, and congrats to SA for their 4th victory 👏

What FAF De Klerk did on 79:40min ,is very smart ,he knew ABs will push early and he waited a split second and then that was scrum reset .Experience personified 🇿🇦😎😊

dude also just before this move it was with the ABs lineout where retalic ran up and down trying to confuse the lineout, barret came in so fast and ran into a fkn wall, PSDT was tasked by rassie to break that line breaker and he fkn delivered in spades
Agreed PSDT was a beast but that one hit was taken by Vermaulen. You can see how he was sent back 2 meters and struggled to stand up and almost "hugged" the next attack by AB. Also took a while to stand up. Legendary PSDT but Barrett ran into Vermaulen there

I watched this live with my family and we were all quiet in the final 5 minutes. It was that tense we thought the All Blacks would take this game around and win. But the Boks proved once again why we are the best. I'm happy and honored to be a South African

I'm still more impressed how the boks TOTALLY cancelled Will Jordan and Mark Telea. Those two wingers had NOWHERE to go whole game long. To keep them from scoring for 80 minutes is amazing defense, it really is.

Not to get overly into reffing, it doesn't help really unless it's part of a formal review discussion, but it appeared to come out backwards from the hand, which it must, then bounce forward before the continuance, which it may.
There were TMOs upstairs, plus one AR and the ref all took this view and we owe it to rugby to accept that they all saw this, and their judgement agrees.

As a South African I’m very happy for the Springboks and super proud. They had a very tough draw in this tournament and non of the so called “experts” gave them a chance. I’m also a huge All Black admirer and I wish we could’ve won this title under different circumstances. Sam Cane’s hit on Kriel was illegal and deserved a yellow card. But upgrading it to red in arguably the most important game in World Cup history? I don’t think referees and TMO should have that kind of power. The decision had already been made. In my opinion, that changed the whole dynamic of the game. The All Blacks have every reason to be upset, and yet, unlike the whining French captain, they humbly accept defeat and give the Springboks all the credit. A truly classy organization.
Decision was taken by experience expects on rugby, there is no way they can cheat and favour S.A., the decision was correct and people will always find something for criticism, well done S.A. we give you a credit you are the champion

Rugby is the most gentlemen sport ironically. You take it out on the field but highest ethics off the field. Thats the beauty of rugby.
The red card was the wrong decision and it killed the game.
Full speed it's obvious that there was no malicious intent from Cane, he was upright trying to catch the player running past.
Any kind of contact can be made look bad using the slow motion cameras, if that's a red then hundreds of reds are being missed in rugby every day.
Barnes made the correct decision on the pitch giving a yellow, but the TMO team ruined the game with an incorrect upgrade decision.
For a viewer with no skin in the game with either side, despite how close the game was, this was the worst World Cup final I have ever seen... I'd have liked South Africa to win but not because of a poor TMO decision. Commiserations to New Zealand.

What a Match
Watching the game a second time, it's amaizing how often the ABs threw in scew at the lineouts. They also don't stay on their feet when they defending in the loose.They lie over the ball. Those infringments add up to a lot of game advantages.
What's more amazing is the AB's try coming from a clear knock-on and the ref and TMO did nothing.

Issue with the ref on the Frizzell hit, he came in from the side, did a neck roll and landed on Bongis lower leg - ref let’s play go on as if “no problem, nothing to see here folks”. At a minimum the ref should’ve seen the side entry and called penalty to the Boks for that alone - how do refs keep missing Kiwi players side entry into rucks for 15 years. We know they do it, everyone in the stands and watching on tv see it and yet the refs continue to allow them to do it - 2 sets of rules. Spoilt the opposition attacking play, no amount of “new rules” will help the game until you clean up bias officiating that allows the kiwis to offend without punishment and ruin opponents attacking play.
Took the TMO to call it back and get the offences (multiple) looked at. Should’ve been a red card and a long suspension for Frizzell. I believe it was a pre planned hit but even if it wasn’t, the fact is he did it (and the key man for the opposition, on which their game is built, in a RWC final is taken out and ruined the attack of the opposition and thus the spectacle that could’ve been delivered), he did it, simply put, he did it and only a red card would’ve have been the correct call. Disgusting behaviour by the ABs, thuggish and unsportsmanlike on every level.
