  • Today is Thursday and since Monday, I have been dealing with some kind of what feels like chest congestion. Things like this are always concerning at my age. The question that comes to mind is carnivore keeping me from getting worse, or the cause of the problem. I talk openly about both sides in this video, and how I'm feeling today.

Good message. What I think, as a 15 month carnivore, is that you were experiencing your immune system fighting a battle with something you came in contact with. Some battles are more severe than others. The fact that you were only 'under the weather' for a few days is a testament to how healthy you have become.

      This is simple, Mitch.
While on the path to carnivore what generally happens is:
      1. We go into repair mode.
      2. Then, we go into rebuild mode.
      3. THEN, we go into DEEP cleansing.
You are likely entering stage 3.

I'm 74 years old and for the past 50 years I have not had to see a doctor, have not had any health issues, not even a cold or a headache. I take good care of myself and have been on the keto diet since BEFORE it became popular... many, many years ago. Staying away from carbs has been a lifesaver for me. I can still turn cartwheels with my grandchildren on the back lawn and then jump into the pool and beat them swimming across to the other end. They say they are going to beat me this year. We'll see about that.

Going on four years with beef only and no sign of sickness yet. Can understand why Mitch talks about invincibility. Certainly does seem like it. Then again, once we remove all plants, the allergies stop and the chemical soup our body was trying to process every day is gone. No need to brush our teeth and cooking meat while leaving most of it raw takes so little time, even if I did manage to get sick, I have gained more productivity than I ever imagined possible. So little wasted time. No wasted food. Almost zero cooking and prep time and one meal a day. It’s insane.

Anyway, I'm basically on your page. I was a pharmacologist years ago until I realized pharma is not about health, it's abou $$$. So I changed careers and stay away from docs like you do. Anyway, although you quickly bounced back from whatever you caught is a testament to your great immune system, I just wanted to share this that I learned from the Amish:If you ever get sick again, especially respiratory, put onions on the soles of your feet - either in socks or wrapped in tape or plastic to keep them on the soles. Your cough will be gone within a day. Easy and no doc involved. Thanks for all you share. It's inspiration to get back to carnivore.

Sometimes I feel like I'm closing in on an 80th birthday but for today I'm planning on seeing that cake with candles burning atop the number 29. This gentlemen is 100 percent correct.I started this diet 2 years ago.Only difference is I kept sugar under 50,drank coffee and diet Soda.I started to slip after 6 months and now I'm struggling to get back..This is what happened.Lost 15 pounds first month.by the 6th month I lost total of 60 pounds.I slept better,my arthritis and carpel tunnel I had for 11 years reversed.after about a month I went from pooping once a day to 2 times a week.I farted once maybe in those 6 months.I also felt like I was in my late 20s early 30s.I discovered this when Joe Rogan interviewed Jordon Peterson (his daughter got him doing it for health reasons). Then I got into some of the biggest names and doctors like Dr. Ken Berry and Shaun Backer..sadly all my conditions returned because I fell off but I'm fighting to get back biput it will be more of ketovore...I will tell you right now listen to this man.He knows what he talking about. It might sound scarey because of the brainwashing we all have been put through but I'm telling ya it works.Keep in mind we are all dying so you have nothing to lose.question is do you wanna feel great or do you wanna feel horrible when your day comes!!!!

Hi, this is the first time I have seen your videos and I am impressed with the condition that you’re in for 77 years old walking at this pace and not being short of breath at all. I am an 80-year-old female who turned strict vegan at 70.(except for one egg in the morning and a tablespoon of raw honey in my coffee.) otherwise, very strict vegan for seven years. At 78 I became a pescatarian, which is someone who adds fish to their vegan diet. When I turned 79 I introduced chicken. So as you can see, I am at the total other spectrum of what you are doing. I can also say I am in very good shape - I have not had a cold for 10 years - have not had Covid or any illness and I am very active with dancing, swimming, and doing exercise trampoline 2 to 3 days a week for circulation. I believe everyone has defined what it is that makes them feel good psychologically and physically. You seem to have found what makes you a better healthier person but therefore I have also found what makes me a physically and mentally better person through a different route.
Keep up the good work and stay well and I wish you the best all-around.

I’m not full carnivore, working towards it, but I believe in it. A couple of weeks ago, I had an upper congestion. Just a stuffy head and one side of the sinus clogged. When i stood up, it would clear, but I had that sick feel in my head. Doesn’t stop you, just kinda there. No cough, did have runny nose for a bit during the day but I guess it cleared my sinuses then I was good for the day. Took about a week to get over, but it was nothing serious. I resent the fact that my mind does go to the extremes of “what if”. I refuse to do any testing as what is that going to do? Nothing unless I worsen or it’s prolonged, and I mean prolonged for a long time, I will just watch, wait and try to continue to improve myself.

I do have all the thoughts about what I’m doing ? Is this healthy? I’m 61 I’m a small female and do jujitsu several hours a week. I’ve been ketovore / carnivore five years but sometimes binging unfortunately.
A month or so ago, I went back to more of a ketogenic more carbs because my doctors scared me about my LDL- and previous brain injury and how my diet was affecting this.
I realized after a month of adding vegetables.-My hands hurt, I binged more. I did not feel as energetic, I wasn’t sleeping and I was a nervous wreck. How can this be better? I decided to go back to a carnivore diet, especially after finding this channel. It’s encouraging . I understand it is my life. I know how I felt when I was being consistent. I wrestle 20-year-olds. I recently achieved a brown belt not an easy task at 61.
I’m so excited to get back to a stricter carnivore diet. I felt unstoppable, lean, strong , so at peace mentally, and had the best sleep. If I feel that great on the carnivore way of eating, how can it be bad for me is my thought. To top it off I do not need to dye my hair. I have very little gray hair that is pretty cool. My husband ( not carnivore) is going to try it also - no more junk food in the house. 😊(which is key to success)

Time pushes the young man and will make him stronger no matter what he does. As the young man turns late 20's time will no longer make him stronger, he must work out, eat good, to build muscles and get stronger. By the mid 30's Time is now moving against him and the man will grow weaker every year losing muscle and aging. He must work much harder to gain muscle, diet becomes even more important. With each passing year the tide working against you grows stronger. You must work out hard just to stay even and growing muscle is almost impossible. Stop and give up and Time will destroy the older man. Fight fight fight and never give up to Decay and Time....

It is called fear. Even though we know, we still fear being wrong.

Thanks for a fabulous video. I'm 60 now and did really low carb most of last year and felt great, fell off it in January and have been struggling to get back on it ever since. I'm determined to go full carnivore because I believe in it.
This video popped up on my feed today and I'm so glad because it's given me the shove I needed, I'm back on it TODAY.
I have awful joint pain and stiffness, standing up is a trial. I've found the 3 stone I lost last year and have sarcoidosis in my lungs.
I need to get on with this. Thanks again for an awesome video. Good health to you Sir from Scotland.
