I was privileged to go to two of these Smile shows in Southern California. Two of the best shows I've ever seen by any artist. I got a bit misty at times during the set as we witnessed Brian's long-delayed dream come true on stage!
I purchased this DVD but I think I only got to watch it once on a very low quality screen on my desktop computer. The camera work here is impeccable! Instead of it being random, it's focused on what the viewer probably would want to see at that point of the show (a voice, an instrument, a sound effect).
Brian and the whole band are really into it and don't miss even the smallest detail. This was a great time to be a Brian Wilson fan!

Some music doesn’t age so well, but this is super fine wine. Brilliantly performed. Amazing quality for a live performance. It’s PERFECT! True American GENIUS!!! Wonderful stuff.

Looks fantastic! I maybe would edit the original wide shots in to retain the quality on the faces, as it is lost almost completely when it cuts to a wide shot, but the close-up looks incredible!

Thank you! The blurrier wide shots are an unfortunate side effect of the original 480p DVD transfer, but I was quite pleased with how the once oversharpened close-ups came out here.
