I know it's a video game, but can't help but thinking of the layers of protection to add. Fences /obstructions to slow down/control the horde. Passive weapons, etc

The original concept of having a detachable box magazine was so the rifle could be reloaded in emergency situations quickly. The idea was to have a one spare magazine dangling from the gun, which is why the mags have a hole in the bottom of them, it was to hold a chain that held an extra mag. This doctrine was never fully realized, however, but the rifles kept their detachable box magazines. The reason for this was because the mags could be easily damaged in the field, so they loaded the rifle by a single round at a time or via stripper clip.

I really like how you added weather which scaled as the zombies got closer, and I also loved how you had multiple speeds of zombies really made it more intense and realistic. Any gun that can fire is pretty much useful, you might be using a musket but that doesnt mean you cant kill zombies, same with the ww1 rifle
