You have to turn on pressure sensitivity on Onenote on the option>advanced

No, I never did. The table wasn't junk...but it wasn't great either. You get what you pay for.

The device doesn’t have a power button. It is powered by the USB cable when connected to the computer.

No it does not work as a touchpad. The stylus is needed to use it.
