The Story of the 2015-16 Golden State Warriors who shattered the NBA record for most wins in a regular season with 73 wins. I used footage from the Golden State Warriors channel and the NBA's channel to make the full season story. I put both together, There are no copyright violations as this is being used for entertainment purposes only.
The video starts on opening night, then the top plays of the Warriors historic 24-0 start to the season. Four months later, on the course for history, the video shows the record-tying 72nd win over the Spurs and the record-breaking win over the Grizzlies for win #73 to conclude the regular season.
The playoffs start with a 4-1 dismantling of the eight-seeded Houston Rockets mostly without Curry.
Then in the West Semis, the Warriors went toe-to-toe with the young and confident fifth-seeded Portland Trail Blazers, defeating them in five games thanks to an historic return from Stephen Curry.
In the Western Conference Finals, the Thunder quickly put the Warriors in a 3-1 hole with two blowout wins in OKC. The Warriors would show the heart of a champion, winning three straight and stunning the Thunder in a legendary seven game series.
Finally, in a Finals rematch, the Warriors drilled the Cavaliers in Games 1 & 2 behind their bench. The Warriors would recover after a blowout Game 3 loss to beat the Cavs in Game 4. The Cavs would win three straight games to come back 3-1 and stun the Warriors for the title. Despite this, the 2015-16 Warriors went down in history as the greatest regular season team of all-time and the greatest what-if in NBA history.

this team aint built by superstars. the players make their way to that LEVEL of skills. will draymond be ALL-STAR if he plays in other team? NO definitely NO. it's the team that he's in makes him the all-star, the level of trust and teamwork they have for each other. it's just within the span of 5 years that they are where they are today. it's not a team of lebron, harden, kobe, durant and any stars you can think of that broke this record, it's team players nobody even take notice of that broke this record. stop saying GSW using all-stars to win championship, Durant is a add-on to make their system work better. Trust me, without durant they can still get the championship ring.

Relied on Durant too much. Forgot how to play without Durant. Paid too much money for curry Thompson and green to stay, now they’ve got a below average team overall. Currently Losing by 40 points

Downplayed Currys injury. Not even a replay. Same for Bogut. Also didn't include the Dramond suspension. Still a good video. Like the music and commentary.
Curry was injured twice in the playoffs and both times he had to miss games. He wasn't even close to himself when he finally came back, we were robbed of him going nuts that postseason, the first playoff game he was going nuts until he got hurt.

It’s about to be 2022 nba this season started in 2015 i can’t believe it’s been 7 seasons since watching this amazing run I feel like it was just yesterday when i got up for school early just so I could watch sports center to see them talk about this team a I always say the cavs and warriors won each other’s chips healthy cavs would’ve won in 2015 and healthy warriors would’ve won in 2016 can’t wait to see Kalyan back in action later this year it’s gonna be fun watching the splash bros again since it’s been 2 nearly 3 years since we’ve seen them play ps not a warriors fan but curry and Klay Probably makes my all time favorite duo in recent history

I’m so glad that people in the comment section recognize that fully healthy this team definitely would have won the championship easily! It’s no coincidence that they were up 3-1 when they had a full team, you guys notice lebron wasn’t talking no shit before bogut and iggy got hurt? As soon as they got hurt he starts talking shit to curry the smallest guy! To me that move was the weakest move by an “all-time great” basketball player! But everybody ignores that little part!

Lebron didn't move as much in 2014 as he did in 2007. Kobe didn't move as much in 2009 as in 2000. MJ didn't move as much in 1995 as in 1889.
It happens to all players. They just get smarter and learn a few tricks to make up for it until age beats them.

For those who said Green shouldn't have been suspended in Game 5, remember it was his fault. He should've been suspended 1 game in the series against OKC, but I believe he hasn't reached the maximum number of technical fouls during that time. LeBron, I believe, take advantage of that in game 4 that made Green swung him.
