This is Angelina's signature song with many performances between the age of 7-13 & every one is different. She doesn't just memorize a song to do it the same way each time. She sings it the way she feels it & depending on whether she is singing with a Big Band, small jazz band, acoustic guitar, piano or acapella. I believe she was 10 for this music video, directed by her maternal grandma, Mery Zamini, an Iranian poet/artist & the one that introduced Angelina to jazz when she was about 3 yo.
I’m with Jerry on this, she seems older than 8 (the View), but younger than 10 (Feeling Good) to me. Grandma’s uploads are sometimes all over the place.

This is what happened to me when I first discovered her talent. Couldn't get enough, listened to many songs that day. It was different for me I didn't have to listen to them as a reactor. I listen to her every day since then and one of my most enjoyable things is to see someone new discover Angelina and get swept up with enthusiasm and wonder!

She won Norway's Got Talent at the age of 8 and has already established herself as an accomplished Jazz artist. Her preferred genre is Jazz but she has done covers of about every genre you can name. Angelina did a song at 10 years old. I’m Still Holding Out For You, it was only recently released, it was so good, I’m still in shock.

@@DancingCoder The video was shot when she was 9 (I estimate somewhere between 9½ and 10, based on her teeth), and while she obviously recorded the vocals sometime earlier, I don't think there's any way it was so much earlier that she was still 8. She did sing the same song multiple times when she was 8 (on TV talk shows and at charity events), but both the sound of her voice and the specific vocal arrangement she used here suggest that this was probably sung later than any of those. (Of course, that's a judgment call reasonable people can disagree about.) But what is certain is that the guitar track heard in this music video existed in November 2015 (2 months before she turned 10), because she sang over it at a live appearance in Brazil at that time (which suggests she had probably already sung over it for the audio recording used in this music video - but, again, that's only an inference).
And while we're at it: she was somewhere around 9¼ for the "I Put a Spell on You" music video, just turned 11 in the TV performance of same (on _Little Big Stars_ ), just shy of 11 for "Feeling Good" (on _The Stream Gir Tilbake_ ), and almost 8½ for "Summertime" (on _Norway's Got Talent_ ).

I'm 67 and have been following this gifted young lady for about 6 years now. When you get to her newer releases, you'll continue to be amazed. She has opened me up to songs I otherwise would have never listened to, and in almost all cases, her version beats the original hands down. Angelina's grandmother was the director and artistic force behind Angelina's early music videos, this one included. Her grandmother, Mery Zamani was a prodigy for art and poetry while growing up in Iran and is Angelina's mentor. It is up to you but I truly believe you will benefit far more by only posting one reaction per day to any artist. Just a suggestion.

She was not 13 in this video, much younger. Some of these videos have been released some time after their original recording. Some of them she has done multiple videos on the same songs. Everything you have watched so far has been by or before her 10th birthday. The “Norway’s Got Talent” performances are from when she was 7 to 8 years old, the “I put a spell on you” video is from when she was transitioning from 9 going on 10 time frame. She is now 15 and a half years old. People are judging her age on the time of the video releases and some of these video releases have different re-release dates which confuses how old she was.
She has even done a couple of Queen songs putting her own unique stamp or touch on them, which is what she does with most of the songs she sings.

Amazing, I look at my youtube feed and I see 4 reactions to one of my favorite singers from you! I was hoping you'd get to her after your deep dive into AURORA. You've just scratched the surface of Angelina like many has mentioned ,and I am here for your journey through her career from her earliest youtube videos of around age 6 (check it out when you get a chance, she sings 'I who have nothing' ) to now, age 15 with covers of 'Yesterday' and 'BIllie Jean' and her originals '7th Heaven' and 'Million Miles'.

You mentioned here in the comments how you're just relying on what people have told you about Angelina, and have not done any research on your own. (Not replying to that particular comment of yours, so it won't seem like I'm talking specifically about the other commenter whom you were replying to.) This is a perfectly reasonable way of doing things, of course, but I just wanted to "warn" you (as if you needed it) that there's a lot of misinformation about her floating around. Her age in certain videos/performances, the number of languages she knows and her fluency in them, how many musical instruments she plays and how well, how tall she is, how wide (pitchwise) her vocal range is… all of these things (and others) have been exaggerated or embellished over time (both in terms of the information being relayed and the "confidence level" associated with that information), as people repeat and "adapt" what they're read other people saying, in a never-ending game of "telephone". It's frustrating.
Anyway… regarding her age, specifically: you should probably commit to memory ASAP that she was born in January 2006. That makes it really easy to compute her age when you know the year of the performance, and can provide at least an upper bound on her age in cases where you only know the upload date of the video. Just keep in mind that some of her most popular performances were uploaded a year or more after they were recorded (including the "I Put a Spell on You" and "Fly Me to the Moon" music videos you've just seen), so that upper bound can be quite imprecise sometimes. It doesn't help (in terms of estimating her age) that at around 9 or 10, she started to look significantly older than she really was. (I'd say she looked 10 when she was 9, 11 or 12 when she was 10, perhaps 14 or 15 when she was 12, and could easily pass for an adult now that she's 15. [Which is scary to contemplate… but whatever.]) So, even people who are pretty good at estimating the ages of children are likely to overestimate her age, just based on her appearance.
Finally, to get away from the whole age thing: like most people, I was initially "captured" by her voice and her… let's say, "stage presence", but as I saw more of her "as herself" in interviews and various behind-the-scenes videos, etc. - and as I learned more about her from articles (most of which are in Norwegian) - I grew to really admire her. (As in, like, "Oh, I see… this child is a better _human being_ than I am.")
I'll just stop here. (I actually wrote more, but decided against including it in this comment. Maybe after a future AJ reaction…) Suffice it to say, there's a lot more to her than her amazing vocal abilities. And finding out about that ("first-hand" - i.e., not just being told in comments) is, arguably, the _real_ rabbit hole.

I am posting this on all of the latest Angelina reactions. I don’t know where else to post this. Except for Ceci Dover, no other reactor has reacted to Angelina at 10 years of age singing, “My Funny Valentine”, one of my favorites of hers. She uses the Ella Fitzgerald lyrics with introduction and it’s an extremely difficult song for anyone to sing at any age, and she kills it. This love song, more than any other “makes me smile with my heart”. I would love to see all of Angelinas Angels react to it.

This habit of covering the videos IN CASE they give you problems looks more like self promotion no matter what you say.
Well its not, it was the first thing I had to hand that fit and I just kept using that image. Following the rules on copyright was the main reason but I also would like people to watch the original video so it acts as an incentive too
You have given me an idea to make this clearer though so thanks so I'll change it so it really is self explanatory
I have rearranged my video layout to better serve and inform the purpose intended. You have written in caps "IN CASE".. it is not "in case" unless I am uploading a video who's rights owners are not immediately apparent. After a while you get used to what level of protection they expect over the visual copyright but for any unknown or new rights owners, you have to go in heavy or risk wasting 1.5 to 2 hours by having to re upload the video. It is not worth the time and effort... just the same as explaining this to you isn't, but as you think I just want to self promote myself I think its clear you have either completely missed the point or are just trolling, and probably have the spare 1.5-2 hours I could use to upload a video without a filter just "IN CASE" it doesn't need one. So do you want that job, as you obviously need something constructive to do?
@@DancingCoder There are reactors that have over 100 thousand and some that have over 500 thousand subscribers that DON'T cover their videos in case of issues so I have no idea why you have to. And I do have constructive things to do as I own a company and take care of my family as well as enjoy watching UA-cam. I know now that I will NEVER watch another one of your videos as you sound like you will never post a video without covering it with self promotion.

Its more than just Copyright for me! Agreed, not all of the videos are likely to have a visual claim against them.. Aurora's NRK releases for example.. but I still want people to view the "original" video regardless and so it serves both pruposes! You are 1 of possibly 5 people that have spoken up about it but the other 4 have not been rude about it!
I am not self promoting, I just chose in a hurry one day to reupload my Dimash - Stranger video with the first image I saw from my website (a category image for reaction videos) - "that'll do I thought"., after it got blocked a day later because the rights owners did not want the visuals to be used in the way they were (It did not incentivise the viewer to go and watch the original video so they staked their claim and I respect them for it - IT IS THEIR VIDEO). It had nothing to do with having my logo all over it. Also maybe read my bio.. as I too run a business, and have a family.. and maybe understand too I am not your typical reaction channel either and had not planned any of this, It just happened. Anyway I understand the filter is annoying, I get that, but uploading without one and then having to stop everything to add it in and re upload which can take up to 2 hours is a waste of my life. Id rather spend it with my daughter.
So now Its just there all the time. Sometimes really faint out of respect to the original video, sometimes really heavy because otherwise you literally cannot upload it at all - IT wasn't a choice to start with it was forced upon me.
Anyway - id love for you to realise my genuine intentions but that's for you to decide now as Ive said all that is needed.
