Technically this is a true cinema lens, as the Academy standard for Cinema is still Super 35, which happens to be the same basic size as Sony APSC.

Those who want FullFrame only should keep making photos. For Film and Video S35 is so much better. Not only so affordable. But smaller and much lighter than ff.
