Superb. Not only an iconic bike, but you were so privileged to get so many parts and documented history along with the sale and meeting a true, honest gentleman of a seller. I'll look forward with great interest, to seeing what you do with this rare and much sought-after classic machine. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much! It really was a great find and package. I've got some good ideas for the bike to show off more of the drag look but also update the style ques to reflect what's in fashion now for these bikes
That guy is a great custodian of the bike. He kept everything related to that bike .I used to have a 71 h1, can I have one of those club stickers please?
Wow what a find, one door closes and another opens! I actually like that H2 better than the H1 that got away. You're in Canada and this deal was in Canada?....Man that couldn't be too cheap, care to share what you paid for it?I wish I could find something like that where I live in Massachusetts.
Oil injection pump? Pet Cock ? I have been experiencing an absolute nightmare of an experience with my recent purchased 1975-H2-750. One issue after the other, hopefully someday it will be solid
@@PetesClassicCycle Yes. Don't ask me why but I've always wanted one. I only caut a glimse of it but I'm interested and there are UK bike importers here who will collect projects from the US. I'd love to know more.
@@PetesClassicCycle Ah yes, I see the fonts are light green too, rather than white on black and missing the mph under the odometer. I prefer the colour scheme of the '72, particularly in blue but do like the chrome mudguards of the A model. Stainless like the early 500's would've been even better. I expect there's quite a lot of mix and match bikes around now. As long as they go and handle half decently, it isn't all that important. Best regards from Wales, and have a good New Year.
@@PetesClassicCycle Looking at the way the rear bracket has to come forward so much, and the awkward angle of the downpipe to the first cone, my immediate thought was they are H1 Wirges. I have a feeling Wirges used the same cones though for his H1 and H2 pipes. On this I stand to be corrected, of course.
@h2hal It's all good. These pipes will be removed anyways and preserved since they are NOS. I have a set of new chambers on order being made for this bike.
What do you mean?? Nothing that has been done can't be fixed and there is no wheelie bar. This bike is in exceptional condition with really low miles...you would be CRAZY to walk away from this deal.

Good to see another project in the line up. Seems to be more triples coming out of hiding. Good to see that too!
Thanks Randy! They are still plenty out there waiting to be found...You just need to keep tuning over rocks until you find one.
Interesting bike, taking into account all the provenance that came with it. Nice one! 👍🏿
Thanks Derek! I love how at a glance it looks standard, but the more you look, the more you find altered. It's a really tasteful custom.
@@PetesClassicCycleAgreed. Tbh I'd probably just clean it up and recommission it. Keep it as it is 😊
Nice find. Awaiting back on the street
Thanks! It's officially in the que to be recommissioned
Nice way to start the 2025. Seller came across as a true passionate. Congratulations to both of you in a good deal. Love the colour. Very cool bike.
Thanks! He was a really great guy and the deal came about organically which was nice. I'm excited to show him the finished product
That Buell tho!! With a sign to boot!!! 😍😍😍
It was pretty cool! You can see how I immediately got distracted by it.
Now to get it running!
That's the plan!!!
That is so cool, what a sweet bike.Should have asked about the sign.
We chatted about the sign after...I don't think it will be going anywhere
God I hope we have a bloody great long video of the recommissioning
I'll do my best to keep you guys updated!
What a lovely guy
Absolutely
Another cool project for you.
For sure, thanks!
You could ask any price for that motorcycle; virtually priceless..
Only if the mods are to your taste
Well, everything has a price. But it is a really clean example of a customized H2.
They can always be changed :)

He definitely was! It is always great to find a total package like that. I'm excited to share with him what I do with his bike

Thanks! This definitely made up for the H1. I don't like to disclose how much I pay for the bikes but I would consider it a fair price.

yes and yes... The bike has both included. What sort of issues have you been running into with your bike?
Is the little Honda Dax hiding in the corner for sale?
a Honda MinTrail 70

Aren't those H2A clocks ?
Nope... the tach on the H2A has the 2 lights on the lower half instead of up by the rev count

Canadian Pickers 😂
hahaha someone has to do it
Hope you can ride a motorcycle safer than the way you drive a car!
haha What's wrong with the way I was driving?
🇸🇪🙂👋👋
Thanks!!
Married man Married man driving a mini van. No time for your life when you have a wife.
I don't see a minivan in my driveway ;)
Pity about the pipes
What's wrong with the pipes?

@@PetesClassicCyclethey don't make any power on a H1, so they probably rob a H2 of power
You are correct. After some research I found them to be H1 pipes.
