that scene cemented my love for August and Eion's performance. I think there are some really talented people on this show, but, in my view, Eion Bailey and Robert Carlyle consistently nail their scenes
irmagedden in all fairness, Eion Bailey acted in Band of Brothers, which is considered, according to IMdB, to be the second greatest tv show of all time.
I personally thought the best acting scene was when August was trying to get Emma to believe, and I think she did believe, she just didn't want the responsiblity. I really hope they get some more dynamic acting from Bailey, maybe he can get best guest starring role in a drama series next year at the emmys or GG.
I've dropped once forever. Season 1 was awesome but Season 2 was horrific and writing off such a great chracter in such an awful was just the top of it. Plus the keep screwing secondary characters if they aren't popular enough or if they want to add new ones so ruining and making disconnected the main plot. Eion Bailey is an EXCELLENT actor and I wish the best! He played August and his interections with Emma and Henry in such a touching way! So bye bye Ouat and Wooden Swan forver!
Oh, I love August, and this season is seriously lacking, and I think it's because we don't have a truly good guy for Emma to be talkiing with like she was with August or Graham. Hook is not a good guy. He kills children. And I know exactly what you mean, the fandom is hating all of August. I hope the writers have him to be with Emma in the end, just so I can go to those fandoms and say "Up yours!"
I wonder how he'd do with a more, idk, 'wooden' sense of humor. He's the best on the show, in my opinion. The best and most underutilized character. Much love. ❤
can't believe this was a deleted scene!!! in favour of what? pffff august and emma forever , in my fairytale world Once is their story, two kids thrown together into an unlikely situation, separated from their parents by a wicked queen curse and its up to them to save the whole town
Yes, he did drop down some money to pay for her drink. :) I hate how, after the Tallahassee episode, August is now the "Bad" guy. Neal was far more a thief than he was. We don't truly know what he did with the money Neal had gave him for Emma yet. He could still have it, just waiting to give it to her at the right moment. August now being labeled as a thief is just a shame :( (Not saying that you're calling him that! Haha. Just saying that the fandom doing so is the pits!)
he tells her "stories" in real life too in an interview on ELLEN she said he convinced her to walk around with cabbage around her neck to get rid of cough--probably he saw in Lemur in kalimazoo do it on his pet frog once...
Well, I'm keeping hope alive that August had honest intentions. For starters, you don't go sending 20k to an inmate, it will raise suspicions, and the jail would've probably stolen the money anyways.
why in the blue blazes did they delete that piece of awesome? Thanks for posting. I hope the writers redeem August this season so the bulk of the fandom will get of his case.
good point. A I'm hopeful that we'll get a powerful scene between Emma and August where they both come clean. Some in the fandom trash August, but let's be honest, Emma left him to rot in a hotel room!!
You know when August first arrived & said he was an author I sooo thought he was like one of the Brother's Grimm or Hans Anderson or something like them reincarnated... lol but Pinocchio makes more since XD
This was my favorite deleted scene. I don't like August and Emma together, but i feel they should have developed him a bit more then maybe i would have cared when we found out he was Pinocchio and was dying.

WHY DID THIS GET DELETED!!!!! AWWW!!!!!! LOVE IT!
wish they kept this scene

omg they should have dated
August is kinda like Emmas big brother :D love it
After what august did to emma? Yeah, no.
Friendship is good
I wish this scene would have stayed. I love their scenes together, and also great advice to her.
Because I think it reveals too much of the "end game". Listen to August's words to her carefully.

I definitely don't ship August and Emma! I just like their relationship as brother and sister!

Is this really? Has he mentionated my town in 1:01? OMG. I love Once Upon a Time, I love Emma, i love August and i love this scene!!! :D

Did he drop money for her drink??? I wasn't sure what he left. Considering now, since the Tallassee episode, August is now labled a thief.
spirittammyk Yes, he left a bill to pay for her cocoa
:O she was looking at regina when august cut her off : O ( i dont ship swanqueen but i do have a point )
Swan Queen
And all of this is ruined...
