He wrote his first album in her home. She had a piano in the bathroom. She had her own individual style. She had chandeliers in the trees outside her house. She was his best friend. Her death hit him hard. This song tells how broken he was after she died. Another masterpiece by James
He lived with her just as friends for a few years. She jokingly said she was his therapist. He and she dabbled in drugs. Her daughter blames him for her taking drugs. She stopped breathing in her sleep and passed away but blood tests showed she had three different drugs in her body. Carrie was the daughter of two very famous people. Debbie Reynolds the actress and Eddie Fisher the singer. When her dad married Elizabeth Taylor then she was Carrie’s stepmother. James book is an excellent read. Your reaction was beautiful
I've been following your reactions ever since your first Dimash reaction and it's almost hard to believe you were ever in a deep, dark state, or a "train wreck," Saeed, as you indicated that you were when reacting to the James Arthur song with that title. You have certainly come a long way since those dark days. You present yourself so well, you are thoughtful and well spoken, and (best of all, in my opinion) you are incredibly sensitive to the lyrics and the performances. While I can't relate to the specific demons that you apparently faced, I can certainly relate to your feelings in relation to this, and to James Arthur, and to Emma Kok among others. I heard you say, "don't give up," and that got me to wondering if you have ever heard Josh Groban's song, "Don't Give Up (You Are Loved)? I also wonder if you have ever done a kind of heart-to-heart video for your subscribers in which you talk about why you think you fell so far and how you think others can avoid doing so or pick themselves up as you have done. (If you haven't done such a video, would you consider doing one)? You mention others like Emma being an example (which she is) but I think you are one of the best examples there is. I hope you know that you are appreciated and respected.
Thanks for these kind and encouraging words. Have not heard that song yet. And have talked a little bit in my thank you video's, but not that much. Will probably do that in the future. Its been a long journey since childhood. Took me a long time to get to this point. A lot of trial and error, but i am in the best place of my life right now. So very grateful for that. And for everyone that watches my video's. Thank you! ❤️
Fun fact; "goodbye my lover" was recorded on the piano in Carrie Fisher's bathroom 😊 Also Carrie Fisher died some days after the heartattack with a lot of drugs in her system, but I'm not qualified and don't want to make any assumptions. It's a nice song and tribute. Thank you for another great reaction ❤
This song of all of his hits me the hardest. I know it wasn't about suicide but Dark Thoughts are what take you to that point. My little brother committed suicide in 2003. My mental health (due to childhood & upwards) has always been a struggle and have been diagnosed with many different types. Those dark thoughts are the ones that have you stepping into the black hole you are on the edge of. In that moment you really believe that no-one cares, that everyones lives will be so much better without you. The thought of calling anyone does not cross your mind, you feel as above and don't want to be a nuisance or a burden anymore. I have gotten a lot better the last few years thankfully but I scared myself as well as family before I got to this point. This song has me in tears the most
Sorry to hear about your brother. I agree dark thoughts take you there. I have friends and relatives who made that same decision. Its heartbreaking. Sending you lots of love and strength. Take care!
I see no one mentioned earlier, Carrie Fisher's mother, Debbie Reynolds, the actress, singer, dancer died the next or two days after Carrie. I do not know if it was a heart attack like Carrie's or a broken heart.
Wow, that’s very personal!

Never knew they were that close. Heartbreaking, but beautiful tribute.

I had no idea.........He's a wonderful story teller. I'm just sorry he's had so much pain in his life. Thank you Saeed!
I had no idea either. Thanks for watching.
Such raw emotions. What a powerful way to share his grief with us.

Wow! What a powerful song and amazing tribute. I hadn't heard this one before and had no idea he was friends with Carrie. Beautiful reaction 💜💜
Same for me! Beautiful song. Thanks for watching.

Didnt know they were that close. Hauntingly beautiful song. Thanks for requesting this one 🙏🏽❤️
@@Helge_Torp yep she went out like a rock star 🤘 rip Carrie Fisher
Carrie Fisher was godmother to James's first son. Ed Sheeran, godfather to his second.
I misread that at first glance, thinking you meant Ed Sheeran was James Blunts first son 😂
