The dancer (Deepika aka Mastani) is a warrior/ princess who falls in love with a married warrior (Ranveer aka Bajirao). In this song, she is publicly confessing her love for Bajirao in front of his wife, sisters and mother (the ones who are sitting on the boxes above).
