Thanks for watching! We put together a build list for this Track car. Enjoy! docs.google.com/document/d/1HlPGJHSOlS5w20PQnZ3vSOPhVom95awbWvjY6RhnGIk/edit?usp=sharing
Watched all of the E46 videos, sick build dude. Hope we'll get to see a track video, or atleast some pulls! Btw. great videos, keep up the good work! #subscribed
I believe so. With the new engine rebuild and everything I fell confident. The boost I’m running after the pulley swap Is what the original pulley would do at sea level.
WOW! so I used to have a 2000 E39 M5 with a Dinan stage two kit it made 480 hp at the crank.(predicted) so that means about 400 hp at the wheels . It also weighted 4300 lbs. That car was an absolute rocket and so much tire slaying fun. Your car must be ridiculously fast with that kind of wheel horsepower and the lightening you have done. AND 400 lb feet of torque! that is nuts. I did some reading and the M3's out there boasting 400 wheel horsepower are only getting 350 lb feet of torque. so i would be willing to say that this car could eat most M3s out there and it would certainly destroy anything stock.
I would like to do something similar with my Z3 3.0i. I know that VF Engineering makes a similar supercharger kit specifically for the Z3 for around $4,500. And the smaller pulley is said to get you to 400whp/400wtq in a car that weighs 2,910. 😄😄😄
HI,if i understand correctly ,you have build in the supercharger, than put it on the dyno with 331hp,than change the header to ebay one, than change the pulley than dyno again to 400whp,i am correct? I mean first dyno without header, second with pulley and header..?
No it will take out the 4 the gear clutches, I had a similar set up on 14 psi. Had to swap to a stick to hold the power. Active Autowerks stage 2 kit turned up a little
Hopefully a while. The pulley has been on for a while at this point. Car probably has 500 miles more or so. All the numbers look good and healthy. So I guess we’ll see!
Hey man I have the exact same care pretty much I have a 2001 330ci I have some questions I’m super new into bmw cars I’m 19 and a college kid who just pumps money into school and my car is there a way we could message back and fourth? God bless man 🙏
Are you still able to buy the high altitude pulley and belt. My 330i has the same setup with the methanol injection kit. Does anyone offer tuning software for the pulley and belt upgrade. I don't want to swap the pulley and belt and risk running lean without a tune. Love the setup btw to!! 👌
In terms of reliability? I run full throttle whenever I’m brave enough on track or sure there is no one around on the street. haven’t noticed any reliability issues.
I don't have like a list written up, but I do have a video where I go around the car and talk about most the parts and were to buy them. ua-cam.com/video/TN7UMFWiyCQ/v-deo.html
You are running stock 10.5:1 compression on stock rods, correct? It’s hard to find info on people running over 10psi on stock bottom end.. 400 at the wheels, your cooking with grease now 👍🏻
Tenza Motorsports but you are running stock compression ratio? Correct..? I’m running 9psi with a turbo m54 right now.. I’ve been told I need to lower compression if I want more than 10psi to avoid bending a rod... if you supercharger guys are running 12-13psi on stock bottom and stock compression then I’d imagine I’ll be fine with my turbo lol.. just digging for some “real” info on the subject. Again, stock compression ratio in your motor? I’m just curious.
Yes, I'm stock compression. I was told unless I wanted like 600HP to not to upgrade parts or change the compression. Since my goal was 350HP and 350ftlbs I didn't bother chasing different parts or compression. These engines have a pretty solid bottom end from what I've heard. The only reason I changed pulley size was to compensate for my altitude. I was running 9 PSI and Active Autowerke said I should be doing like 12.
Tenza Motorsports I trust the guys at active auto over the forums lol, gives me some piece of mind. thanks man. Love your build, look forward to seeing more in the future! Cheers!
It was hard to put it on because it was my first major modification. And upkeep is pretty mild. Mostly just preflight checks. I have videos of the install and a video about the upkeep.
Just make sure your car is ready for the upgrade. I talk more about this topic in my upcoming video scheduled to post tomorrow morning. Watch that video, also watch this video where I talk about my experiences with the kit. ua-cam.com/video/zGuxktSD_2s/v-deo.html
Sorry if this is a dumb question but would it be possible to increase the boost of this supercharger to 18psi? And what would it take to get it to that boost? I have a 330ci and would like to make 500bhp if possible without a turbo
There are no M3 badges on this car. The 330 is cheaper to buy and cheaper to modify. If I would have done this same list of mods on an M3 I’d be over $35-40k

I’m now that’s what I call gains this cars hass all the walk for all the talk. love it man keep it up!!
I agree some real good solid numbers for sure!
Well, I can't say I understood much of that. But it sounded cool! 😳
Dude! Redshift! I live down the road from these guys. Just got my third BMW. 2003 e46 M3.
Watched all of the E46 videos, sick build dude. Hope we'll get to see a track video, or atleast some pulls! Btw. great videos, keep up the good work! #subscribed
Thanks for the comment and support! It’s getting cold unfortunately but I’d love to get some seat time with the camera on.
Packin another 65 horses in the stables!
Yuhhh!
Very cool from just the pully upgrade. Do you think it is a safe level of boost to run? Especially track driving?
I believe so. With the new engine rebuild and everything I fell confident. The boost I’m running after the pulley swap Is what the original pulley would do at sea level.
Tenza Motorsports Ah right forgot about the altitude. Any plans to put an LSD in? FYI I also have a 330 track car.
Yes, this car desperately needs an LSD. Its on my to do list!

This thing is a rocket ship for sure! You need another M5 soon
Max RPM also matters in acceleration. F1 cars dont have much torque, but they rev insanely high. Hence they are very fast.
looks very great thx for share it
How reliable are these superchargers on the m54b30 engine?
Add water/ methanol injection? Cooler intake charge temperature? Snow performance.
They make a kit for my supercharger but they claim it doesn’t add power. Idk if I will of not

My engine came from a z3! That would be an awesome build. I would say, do it for sure. This race car is stripped out. It weighs 2800. And it’s fast!
Dude you are in idaho too? That's awesome been wanting to do the same to my e46.
Yep! I’m in south east Idaho. Get a parts list put together and I’ll help you out! Always looking for more projects!
Nice build!
Do you have any problem, in track day, with the heat in this setup?
Nope! Stays very cool
HI,if i understand correctly ,you have build in the supercharger, than put it on the dyno with 331hp,than change the header to ebay one, than change the pulley than dyno again to 400whp,i am correct? I mean first dyno without header, second with pulley and header..?
All 3 of the dyno videos on my channel the headers are on. The only thing I changed to get 400 hp was a pulley and a belt
Awesome build... Can u use that sc kit with auto transmission? Can stock auto transmission handle 400whp?
You can use it but I don't know the automatic will handle the extra power.
No it will take out the 4 the gear clutches, I had a similar set up on 14 psi. Had to swap to a stick to hold the power. Active Autowerks stage 2 kit turned up a little
@@christopherowen9081 rwd or awd, zf or gm5l40e or gm5l50e? I want to get a stg 2 aa supercharger with 13psi on auto 330xi. Thanks in advance.
What size pulley and injectors you running? Didn't see in the video
I don’t know the pulley size. The injector are M3 injectors
Are those gains with just the stage one charger kit from active?
This is the stage 2 Active Autowerke kit, with the smaller "high altitude" pulley.
What transmission are you running?
Stock transmission
How long do you think that will hold up?
Hopefully a while. The pulley has been on for a while at this point. Car probably has 500 miles more or so. All the numbers look good and healthy. So I guess we’ll see!

I have an Instagram linked in the description of the video!
Where did u get the wing interested in buying one
HARD motorsport. They sell custom chasis mounting and the wing is a 71" APR GT250.
hey, what did you do to the motor?
A lot!
ua-cam.com/video/gMq50BmFrqA/v-deo.html

How about the full throttle robustness? Can you still stay on full throttle forever or can’t you do that anymore?
In terms of reliability? I run full throttle whenever I’m brave enough on track or sure there is no one around on the street. haven’t noticed any reliability issues.
hey bro , what is the mpg? on this car? miles per galon
If I’m nice 25 ish. After a track day like 7
Do you have a list of all upgrades done?
I don't have like a list written up, but I do have a video where I go around the car and talk about most the parts and were to buy them.
ua-cam.com/video/TN7UMFWiyCQ/v-deo.html
Can I do this to my 07 e92
What size injectors and fuel pump?
Whats done with engine ? where can i find ?
The engine has a fresh rebuild, I'm running an Active Autowerke stage two super charger kit.
Tenza Motorsports stock internals ?
Stock internals, yes
B30?
Yes
Is the car on pump 93 or E85??
It’s 91 pump. I don’t have 93 in my area
Which supercharger you are running ?
Active Autowerke
Would this same supercharger kit & pulley fit a 325Ci, if so do you have links to both
You would have to talk to Active Autowerke. I really don’t know.
what fuel is this on?
91 ethanol free
You are running stock 10.5:1 compression on stock rods, correct? It’s hard to find info on people running over 10psi on stock bottom end.. 400 at the wheels, your cooking with grease now 👍🏻
The Active Autowerke stage 2 kit does 12psi. So anyone who has the stage 2 set up should be 10 and up.

Appreciate it. You should post some more vids of your car. Do a walk around and show what you have done so far!
Kool I learned a lot from your vidz hopefully by now you've color matched those fender vents and taken that aero stuff off the front ;)
Why would I take aero stuff off the front?
hard to put kit on? lot of upkeep on it?
It was hard to put it on because it was my first major modification. And upkeep is pretty mild. Mostly just preflight checks. I have videos of the install and a video about the upkeep.
@@TenzaMotorsports I'm looking at same kit u have, fun daily drive it if it's possible.

@@tommyleechainey7608 say you don't know shit without saying you don't know shit they can go higher 15 to 20 psi some can go more
Wow!
Not the wanna be m3 😂 why wouldn’t you just get an m3 I mean you already have the badges and vents
