Yes Daz speak the truth! I deal with polycystic ovarian syndrome PCOS which causes me to have unrelentless acne, no matter how much I wash my face I have it. I feel very unattractive along with having glasses when my eyes are so bad, I inherited my bad eyes for my late father. These people are the reason why lots of women or men have self-esteem issues. We should just embrace ourself/love ourself for who we are, and if you wear glasses you are beautiful regardless. People need to realize glasses help people see if and not everyone's privileged enough to wear contacts. We also need to stop making fun of people with acne because we don't know their backstory, I'm so sick of hearing people say oh you have acne because you chocolate or greasy foods... Yeah I've tried cutting those out and I still have acne, I wash my face three times a day still have acne. It depends on your system, you can have a disorder where your acne is there no matter what.

Hey Daz! So the origin of this is actually different than the ‘don’t judge me’ challenge. The sound bite is from a show called Riverdale, but the challenge originated in China on a China specific app.
Even though the challenge is silly, i believe a part of the reason why it was started (correct me if I’m wrong) was to try and eliminate a lot of untrue stereotypes about Asian people’s appearances and how they are viewed in popular media.
A lot of the ones that were done in the Chinese app were pretty darn awesome. Guys and girls did it. I do agree it is a bit self involved, but it’s all in good fun i think. And if the message was what i thought it was, then good for them! Throw those stereotypes in the trash where they belong
Try and find some of those original ones if you can and check those out.

This trend actually started with East Asians, Chinese people to be specific and their videos were pretty badass not going to lie. Some of their videos, went from them looking simple, to them in tradition clothing wearing traditional make up so I found that pretty cool, but these Americanized ones seem like shit. XD

The quote is from the show, but the challenge is from China. I think it's meant to be from normal/geeky to badass. I believe more just to show different sides rather than "ugly" to beautiful.
