- It is the end of spring and we are getting ready for the summer even though it still feels like the start of spring. Freezing night time temperatures have stunted grass growth so it would be great if summer brings some warmer temperatures.
I trial a new tactic of reducing our rushes on the pasture.
We go to collect 100-day old chicks form the hatchery and bring them home to their new brooder.
We utilise the wonderful river Shannon that runs along the bottom of the farm on the hottest day of they year so far.
They r like your pets

They sure are. They don’t be long growing up though. They are already loosing there cutenesses unfortunately 🐥🐔 Thanks very much for tuning in 👍🏻

Hi Shane. Sorry I replied to the wrong comment. Yea the same hatchery I use all the time. It is Annyalla hatchery in Monaghan. Did you make any progress with your chicken tractor?
